I ended up walking away for good three weeks ago, AND changing my number (though he has my email address if he wanted to reach out). This person couldn't not possibly reach out for the past few years due to personal issues but now they could but they don't and every time his mom goes to see him I have expectations but I always get disappointed as he never even mentions me even though I have sent gifts for happy recovery...I don't feel he still loves me even though I do and I would need a proof of some communication but I kinda don't want to have illusions again.. this is so so difficult.
