Like I said, dude only won the beef because of the son reveal. I kind of hate defending Drake in these beefs because I'm really not a massive Drake fan. I think we all need to understand that since Drake IS by far the biggest hip-hop/rap artist currently, people are going to poke at him for the ghostwriting situation way more than any other artist. That being said, I honestly don't even think he'll ever be able to "redeem" himself for it with future raps or projects because people are automatically going to assume he's still doing the same thing. Obviously we know his pure talent does have a lot to do with his success, but people are gonna ride the ghostwriting to the moon with him in particular.

As a guy from the middle age white dude rock spectrum, nothing is worse than hiding the fact that someone else did the work for you. When the artists like the Monkees and Warrant were found out to use studio musicians to do the tracks and having to learn them before tour, that ended them as seriously considered artists. Drake will probably 'win' this battle because he has a big fan base who doesn't care much, but he's already lost because of the aura his actions caused.
