Great to see all versions here! I’ve been exercising with the red one lately and it impresses me a lot. My Gammamon even defeated Canoweissmon in my first battle and gave me about 600 vital points. That really blew my mind. I can’t wait to see an advanced touchscreen (and USB type c of course) version of the vital bracelet in the future!

Yea they just haven't been as interesting to me as the initial VB launch was, unfortunately. Between being stuck finishing the Vital Pet project, personal life, and other hobbies, the last thing I wanted to do was keep up with more VB news lol
I love how the box makes it look like you're getting two devices. Total not deceiving at all! Also, Imperialdramon DM is awesome and I hate how much weaker he is than the other forms.
Been looking at getting the BE to replace my original VB it seems night and day in terms of training and the ease of use lol That 25th box is insanely cool they did a great job with it! Great first impressions!
I love the aesthetic of the 25th anniversary one, but I gotta agree that they look ridiculous. I wish they applied the brick wall texture to regular straps and the keyhole was the logo above the screen instead. Definitely send one my way though 😁

Definitely more than the original! Probably not going to be the most rugged watch on the market on anything, but will save you from a good key bumps against a wall or something
Hello! Is that the major deep black transparent part between black and white(transparent) have different grade of darkness? It seem the white(transparent) one look more transparent on official image but look like all the watch have the same darkness though.
I actually never did one because of how similar they were to the original outside of the app experience. There are some small changes to the gameplay loops, but they're largely the same as the original VBs and I felt like I didn't have enough to say to justify a full review. I think other members of the community have done reviews though!

Yea the red and 25th anniversary BE's have the BE Memories and the other ones do not. The BE Memory slot is probably the SD card slot since it uses the same pin readouts and if they do updates it'll probably go into that slot
One thing doesn't seems any unboxing talk about it, which is the battle between VB, so the BE series has no way to battle like we use vs dim last time?
I kinda fell off the Digimon Card Game, but I 2anted to check it out again to see where things have gone! I'm an avid Magic player and just recently got into the Pokemon TCG again after a 10 year break, but I wanted to make all kinds of card game content since it's a big part of my life. Definitely some stuff in the pipeline!
I'm no video expert but try zooming in a little bit next time and then letting autofocus zoom you out. Your autofocus was on, it just wasn't working while your hands were that close to it.

Though I did literally just finish watching Children's War Game again to steal some inpiration for a UI I'm designing. That part of the digimon anime will never get old

You have any interest in Flipper Zero? It's about the closest thing the world has to an irl digivice, we just need the living creatures to install on it. That custom firmware is in the works though.
One of my old partners in my Kickstarter has one and loves messing around with it. I can't say I have any personal interest in it, but it's a sweet device regardless

The uart control is something that will come in handy a lot for hardware hacking, and it has a lot of plugins and tools for managing hex data as well; useful for general debugging and development. I think for those reasons alone, it's worth checking out: the IR and sub-ghz and NFC and RFID and iButton and games and music players are all just icing on the cake 🤣
Bout the same as the original VB, sadly. I don't think I can go longer than a day without a charge. I end my work days with 1-2 bars left on the battery indicator

Yes, but be careful because as of the recording of this video, the only way to do it is to manually move your mon from the VB lab app to the BE and then into VB Arena. There is a chance that you could potentially lose your mon too since it's a little buggy atm
Honestly not sure if I want to do one still! Wasn't sure if there was a demand for it, and I've been so burnt out of the VB as a whole I don't think I have the proper mindset to give it a fair chance at the moment

It's my fault for expecting everyone to already know everything. I assume that everyone into these things are already super into it and would have known all the details. I bought a V and waiting for the 25th Anniversary BE in the mail. Always wanted something designed off the original V-Pet and wanted something to protect the device so this is perfect for me.
I've watched a few episodes and I've used the base VB since launch, played the TCG since launch, owned multiple vPets, and created one of the most successful VB mods to date. I think it's perfectly valid to use this without having watching the anime and I've enjoyed the base VB more than many others, so I think it's fair to do so. Also the base BE is explicitly without any Digimon branding for this very reason, and there are other non-Digimon VBs that came out before the BE, so I don't think you should discount anyone's opinions because I didn't like the anime

Awesome unboxing! Helped clarify the quality of the buttons. I was sadly one of the VB owners of which the button fell off the main board 😭😭.

The ViP she'll actually fits the BE! You just can't use the Upgrade Memory on it. There will be an update about that soon
The color could be about 5% more Blue in my opinion.

It's possible, since the other straps did on the base VB, but I haven't had mine long enough to say for certain

Bracelets are in English and the language of the mons depends on what DIM/BEM you load since it's stored in there

People can still use products and not watch the anime. Look at Yu-Gi-Oh players 97% of them don't watch the anime anymore and just play the tgc
