You look fabulous! Your hair and makeup are perfect! I really enjoy all of your videos and will watch anything that you decide to film! Thanks for helping me learn and deal with trying to get my hair healthy!!! Looking forward to next week’s vid because your hair looks wonderful.
The Derma E shampoo and conditioner are fabulous and I use them just about every wash - though I've had to figure out a creative way to utilize the shower wall to squeeze them. Goodness I hope they listen to their consumers and fix the bottle issue!! Happy New Year!! 🎉
Some of my new favorites are the Your Curly Girl custards. I got all 3 hold levels (soft, hard, and extreme hold) in smaller sizes. The soft hold I can use on it's own, but the hard and extreme hold need a leave-in or cream underneath for me. It's not a brand I hear about a lot, but they're great products at decent prices!
You're right. I've never heard of it before. But I'll definitely have to check it out. It looks really interesting. Hopefully I can get ahold of those for next year. Thank you for the recommendation. ☺️
Have you tried the Kinky Curly “Knot Today” detangling conditioner? I have a similar curl pattern to you. I use it as a leave in (a small amount) on wet hair before the Kinky Curly Custard instead of a curl cream. The “Knot Today” gives me a good refresh when I use a tiny tiny amount at a time on dry hair when it might be looking a bit frizzy/dry. If you rub the product between your fingers, there is zero residue. I’d recommend it. Thanks for all your videos and your hair is lovely!
I have tried the Kinky Curly Knot Today. Honestly I love it for my daughter's hair. It works really well for her. I just don't love it for my hair. Whenever I pair it with the custard, it weighs my hair down too much.
As far as products go, I really haven't found something that I really love, although, I've been loving the It's a 10 mousse right now. Have you tried that one? I think it's a bit more pricey than some, but I don't mind paying the price if it really is that good. I love my black orchid diffuser! I don't think I'll even try something else. Although, I may splurge someday and get the Defrizzion & XXL diffuser by Curlsmith.
Hmm no I haven't tried that one. I'll have to take a look into it and see if I can get ahold of it for next year. Thanks for the recommendation. And same. I haven't bitten the bullet yet. But I might. I've definitely been tempted.
Honestly, it mostly didn't make it on my favorites just because I haven't really used it this year. That being said, it still is a good product and I would recommend it. Though from my understanding, it works best in a dryer climate. If you live in a more humid place, you may have to layer another gel over the top. The only hold ingredients it has are film forming humectants. So I'd put it more in the category of a custard. Hope that helps!

I think it would be great to see you try Tooti Lab!
I'll see what I can do. They're a bit out of my budget, but I'll try to get ahold of them.
