Don't you realize that this songs sounds this good because of the rhytmic section? Simon sounds great and Boris is perfect in the drums. His powerful sound and style made Cure concerts sound like never before. Since Boris left The Cure, the band was not as powerful and creative as before. Boris should return to the band or Bobby should look for a better drummer OR Jason should realize he sucks and leave the band. He is killing The Cure with his prerecorded shit. Just like heaven sucks now

He is the one who makes the choices for stuff like the drum machine to be used on stuff like 100 Years, etc. It gives it the feel like it used to have. It isn't like New Order doesn't mix elements like that. I don't like the click tracks either but to think that Jason chose it is ridiculous. They didn't even do the click tracks until after the ill-fated 1998 Bizarre Festivals tour. The Bloodflowers tour was the beginning of the click tracks. You can listen to the bootlegs of the shows from 1997 and Coop is on point and loose as fuck with his playing. That Seattle show is legendary with the old songs they played that night.
