raised as a Jehovahs witness left when my parents split.....and from the age of 14 to 42, I was an atheist, or a hater of God I was a mixed bag....when I was suicidal a few years ago I was drawn to christ...I sat down and read the new testament for myself without any man trying to change the doctrine, within a few days of reading I trusted in the words in a way that I have never trusted before, it was as if the words were speaking to me and I just wept feeling ashamed for my past actions....and when I truly believed I felt a forgiveness and a calming around me I felt alive in a way that I have never felt before , I was blown away let alone all the other things the lord has done in my life.... Jesus is the key and man likes to add to it, I am 100% Jesus and zero me...I want to be a better person daily and yet I fail a lot but the lord is who picks me back up, just as a loving father would do......keep the faith we all struggle.....all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ!!!!
John 20:29 "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen me yet have believed" Belief is the greatest key in our walk with Jesus. None of our works can save us, no matter how much impact the works does. Only by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone shall we be truly saved.

@@Plowboy823 In Matthew 7, Jesus tells the people to depart from him because they are trusting in their own works rather than believing and trusting in Jesus. Also in Matthew 22 the man is not getting in and is thrown into darkness because he tried to enter the wedding in a another way than what was the right and intented one. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through him. You can NOT earn salvation by doing good works. You can only be saved by the blood of Jesus which He shed on the cross. In order to be saved you have to trust and have faith in Jesus and his sacriface. Jesus saved us by dying in our place because he loves us, and because we would never have been able to save ourselves.
@@Plowboy823 The man entered the wedding feast the wrong way because he tried to enter with his own clothes when he should have entered with the wedding clothes. What Jesus meant in this parable is that if someone tries to enter heaven with something else than faith in Jesus, that person will not be taken in. The wedding clothes reprecent that we are washed clean because of our faith in Jesus's blood, and that is the only way to heaven. If someone tries to enter in some other way (works etc.) he will be rejected. Don't trust yourself in salvation, trust Jesus! You are not a co-savior. Jesus died and shed his blood for us and that is enough. Don't add enything else to salvation. If you trust in your works you're saying that what Jesus did was not enough to save you. Do you seriously think you could do better than God?

Sept/21 I got saved watching your video on salvation. I use to go to Sunday School as a child and had God in my heart. By the way... What works have you personally performed that will make you righteous? I have found that as hard as I try I am still never going to ever be able to work enough to be saved. I was never truly saved until I found you last year. I believed in God but never understood why Jesus was important. I was so scared of God and hell and cried and repented like crazy and thought if I died and didn’t repent of my sins I would go to hell. Religion is HARD. Thank God he opened my eyes from the wisdom he gave you and let me find by reading the Bible.

Please pray for my mother-in-law. She’s on a ventilator because something triggered lung inflammation last Sunday. I’m hoping she will be off the ventilator tomorrow (Sunday). She’s a believer and her home is in heaven. But we love having her here in our family. She’s such a faithful woman and so good and kind hearted. I hate for her to suffer. Thank you for helping me to clarify my mind & heart. I was saved by faith in the Blood of Jesus in 1974, but the last few years I noticed that many preachers started to teach & preach the sinners prayer which I never said when I got saved. Yes, I thanked Jesus for saving me. But those preachers started confusing me and I began to notice other twisting of the scriptures coming out of their mouths. I recognize now that this is part of the end time apostasy. It is another reason to read the Bible for yourself & study it; God will show you the false teachings.

@@frankmoreno7216 Explain how someone who doesn't believe, receives the Holy Spirit. Then explain how someone who does believe, doesn't gain salvation without water baptism. Your need for water baptism in order to receive salvation is in direct contradiction to scripture. You misunderstand Acts 10:48 because you're leaving out 47... They wanted to be water baptized, so they were commanded to do it correctly. This negates your connection to 17:30 for salvation. In fact, if we had to look at 17:30... It's going to also kill your theory.

My problem was my heart was hardened for many years. It took coming to the end of myself and realizing that I couldn’t live my life without dying to my old sinful self, and being born again to live for Christ. I was stubborn and hard hearted. I had a self righteous heart of stone and He gave me a heart of flesh. I believed with my head and not with heart. Thank you for this message. What a great message I was raised in the Assembly of God church and the faith of Jesus saving grace for what he did for each of us at the cross is the only way to be saved . Only Jesus saves us through our faith. I have seen over the last several years especially the last 5 that salvation and the seeking of the the gifts of the holy spirit and trusting fully in Jesus just seems to be gone. When we no longer here that if you do not have faith in Jesus blood saving us that you will be forever tormented I'm the lake of fire has stopped. I have no license and I’m living with my parents so I’m stuck right now I can’t get out to tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. raised as a Jehovahs witness left when my parents split.....and from the age of 14 to 42, I was an atheist, or a hater of God I was a mixed bag....when I was suicidal a few years ago I was drawn to christ...I sat down and read the new testament for myself without any man trying to change the doctrine, within a few days of reading I trusted in the words in a way that I have never trusted before, it was as if the words were speaking to me and I just wept feeling ashamed for my past actions....and when I truly believed I felt a forgiveness and a calming around me I felt alive in a way that I have never felt before , I was blown away let alone all the other things the lord has done in my life.... Jesus is the key and man likes to add to it, I am 100% Jesus and zero me...I want to be a better person daily and yet I fail a lot but the lord is who picks me back up, just as a loving father would do......keep the faith we all struggle.....all glory to the Lord Jesus Christ!!!!

Also in Matthew 22 the man is not getting in and is thrown into darkness because he tried to enter the wedding in a another way than what was the right and intented one.
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through him. You can NOT earn salvation by doing good works. You can only be saved by the blood of Jesus which He shed on the cross. In order to be saved you have to trust and have faith in Jesus and his sacriface. What Jesus meant in this parable is that if someone tries to enter heaven with something else than faith in Jesus, that person will not be taken in. The wedding clothes reprecent that we are washed clean because of our faith in Jesus's blood, and that is the only way to heaven. If someone tries to enter in some other way (works etc.) he will be rejected. Don't trust yourself in salvation, trust Jesus! You are not a co-savior. Jesus died and shed his blood for us and that is enough. Don't add enything else to salvation. If you trust in your works you're saying that what Jesus did was not enough to save you. I was saved by faith in the Blood of Jesus in 1974, but the last few years I noticed that many preachers started to teach & preach the sinners prayer which I never said when I got saved. Yes, I thanked Jesus for saving me. But those preachers started confusing me and I began to notice other twisting of the scriptures coming out of their mouths. I recognize now that this is part of the end time apostasy. It is another reason to read the Bible for yourself & study it; God will show you the false teachings.

I’m 60 years old. I came to believe in Jesus as a child and have struggled my whole life with my faith. I was under the impression I had to add to the cross to be saved.

I know once we BELIEVE in the 🩸we are saved but everyone I’m around says we must do works to be saved. Paul says faith is righteousness. Then James says faith without works is dead. I have no license and I’m living with my parents so I’m stuck right now I can’t get out to tell others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel guilty like since I do t get to do works that I won’t make it. Thank you for your teachings I know God knows our heart but thankfully it’s not about doing tons of works everyday. Dear Pastor Breaker I so enjoy hearing the GOSPEL so clearly proclaimed that even a small child could easily understand.I find so few pastors presenting the GOSPEL with out adding works, promising to turn from sin, or doing something to appease God before being saved. Salvation is a complete and total reliance on Jesus Christ and what he has accomplished for us. I placed my complete and total faith, trust,reliance both head and heart knowledge in my innermost being in what Jesus Christ has done for me taking the punishment for my sins,shedding his blood, on the cross for my sins,buried,and rising from the dead on the third day.Lord have mercy on me a sinner. Salvation unto eternal life is a free gift from God at the total expense of God the Son who did it all for us.Jesus last words on the cross was It is finished PAID IN FULL. We cannot do anything to earn the free gift of eternal life. We can only believe the Gospel plus nothing else.

I TOO was SO led to believe that I wasn't really saved, by a certain U tube street evangelist, he says you are a falsely converted christian because I believed in salvation by GRACE ALONE , BECAUSE I DIDN'T AUTOMATICALLY BECOME PERFECT 😢😢 I was so afraid I wasn't good enough to go to heaven !
