I like this stuff because it reminds me of how simple reality seemed as a kid which brings a kind of nostalgia to me in our fast paced world that we live in today.

Why are some of us so compelled by this? I think, perhaps, because it reminds us of half forgotten dreams, and the other realities where we escape to during the night.

Sink into your newly dried mattress. Let your eyes flutter shut as butterflies rest on flower beds. Hear the rustle of leaves and the power of seas. Feel the cool wooden floor as you reach for the door. Shhh, blackness. It’s time for you to enter the great escape.
Run away from the needy papers holding your future. For beyond time and space, you won’t need them anymore. Sneak out from cagey salads mixed of human bodies and mashed expectations and realities. They won’t miss you. Miss the rush of beating your fellow man into the grave. Dodge the need for any person’s love; the universe will suffice for now.
    Dirft.
Like a car veering into a wreck in slow motion. Imagine the lines of smoke as the collision nears. Feel yourself weightless in the passenger seat. The gentle cushion bedding your spine. The windows grow more and more tinted as the lights turn out. Closer. As the car takes a bend and begins to flip up, slow as ever. Closer. As pencils and papers fly about the space which is closing in on you; tucking you in. Bracing. Colourful metals crumpling together as the world turns black.
    Impact.
    Sweet dreams.
The crumpled metal falls away revealing that it was paper. You drop into a bright sea of thousands upon millions of crumpled papers. Sinking five metres deep before touching a ground that you can’t identify. This is the space between realities. Don’t worry, they can’t hurt you. You can only get lost and find your way back. These are where we’ll be going for the next few hours. So rest easy and breathe slow. You won’t get this moment again, but you can always have it.
Including our finest points in time and space, you’ll be able to flood yourself being with the sensations you wish to feel. From our darkest mazes to the brightest planes. From our slickest playground towns to the grandest roller coaster castles. From beaches of tan and brass to mountains of white and orange. Off sandy houses to rain ridden roads to bowling ball theatres to that one time you stayed at your school’s first dance in years long after the party left and the lights dimmed; it’s yours.
Your concept of physical matter will shift and manipulate with the mysteries of the unnatural and supernatural. Whilst you look, listen, smell, taste and feel, save a piece of gold for the entities you may or may not come across on your journey. They only get a break from solitude every few decades. That’s to say, do ask them how the weather’s been and what they’ve built.
This isn’t what you think to be reality anymore; the place where people could care less about what you’ve done over where you’re from. No. This is the third section of life. Seek shelter before the night falls, young one. Keep a bunch of pebbles in your pocket. The hidden corners of living and fulfilment are there. So indulgent and detoxification won’t worlds apart. With the spirit of an eternal traveller, don’t fall in line with anyone one person’s perception of objectivity; you steer this vehicle. You’re the vessel who’ll take to higher lands and find yourself within. These are the truths is merely a matter of fact.
Once you’ve caught the train and are heading out of the shower, allow this journey and experience to follow you. Wherever you might find yourself, you can let the pages spill over you like that time your friend spilled juice or soda on their homework. Let the memory sit. It isn’t the death of a childhood. It isn’t cruelty. This is our plane of living. This is life. You can find it in the atmosphere, ambience and the flow of time with the wind. Pebbles in your pocket.
To whoever has read this far, congratulations. You either hate or love me. I’ll take either so long as you never find me.

    dreaded snowflakes
thinking of you, tears glide down my cheeks,
i feel so close, connected to you - as if you know every secret, every detail about me
and yet we will never meet.
i want to comfort you, fight for you, cradle you like a baby and whisper that everything will be okay.
our beings stretch between opposite sides of the multiverse, trying to grasp each other, hold on to one another.
and yet i always miss you, even if it's by milliseconds.
i know you’re out there, that you can hear me. that this padding of heavy, thick snowfall around us isnt too much to silence my cries for your company.
that the overbearing world between us will be knocked down.
my lost love, one day i hope i find peace. i hope i can forget about you, it hurts too much knowing i'll never truly know who you are.
oh but how wonderful it is to dream…

The ones with the white tiles and such. But theres another artist Gabrielle Salonga whos poolrooms have a very diffrent and less dark feel.
