I think you missed where he found clue of elixir to save his mom. He is becoming stronger to get necessary items from demon castle. He becoming strong for his family. Only his family is motivation for him
the literal only reason he's getting stronger throughout is FOR his family. idk what gave you the impression he was doing it just to become the strongest.
This is a very fun video format. I get to watch your theories evolve and your opinions change in real time. And seeing all of episode 1 after seeing the first episode of season 2 was great
I love the transitions between your episodes 😂😂😂 Great short but accurate analysis. Unlike most people just repeating the (obvious) plot, you analyzed the scenes and gave your own very objective opinion about it, well done. I also liked very much how you compared it to ordinary human behavior in the real world. And yes, it's made by A-1 pictures.
"He's too op!" Is a sort of redundant argument considering he nearly died 4 times in season one, yes he is overpowered but only compared to the current people around him. However, compared to literally any S-Rank he is still weak and still struggles with fights a lot of the time. Another thing I think is a little stupid to nitpick is the fact that he became more cold, do you think you would lose more emotion as you'd nearly die, see 6 people die in front of you, then proceed to kill 6 people, not to even mention the amount of pain he felt in episode 1/2 and episode 7. (Also all of this happens within 3 months.) Side note: Season One only really covers the prologue, it's just meant to state the world and characters before the story really kicks off. (Think Deku before One For All or Luffy before the acquiring the Going Merry.) Season Two is where most of the story actually begins and where characters are going to be more explored upon.
All of the arguments to how solo leveling sucks is stupid. "Solo leveling copying sao!" Just because because they both have the same power system, its like saying one piece copied dragonball because characters from both series get stronger from training and getting into fights. "No character development!" Id rather read and watch the main character fight and develop than cutting away to some irrelevant character and their backstory and getting a little edgier, plus, character development barely affects the story, they should mostly be static anyways.
when u said he’s getting colder, there’s actually reasoning for it that will be revealed later on! but tbh, most of the humorous aspects of the show and Jinwoo’s personality all got cut from the anime… like how jinwoo loves veggie juice, lots of his dialogue talking abt his sister, etc etc
I can understand why the names confuse you, as half a dozen characters have the word 'Jin' in their names. Sung Jin-Woo Sung Jin-Ah Yoo Jin-Ho Woo Jin-Chul

its always been about his family though he literally is trying to get the elixir for her mother

Solo Leveling is amazing, one of the best Animes of 2024
