This was really fun to watch! It was clear that U had put quite a bit of thought into the components U created. At first I wasn't sure about what it was going to turn out like. HOWEVER, I was very pleasantly surprised about how many attractive features and aspects of Ur creation I liked! It is really an attractive piece of ART! THANK U!!!
I like your tone of voice ma'am. You not only did my favorite character from Steven Universe but you also got my subscription. I'm just complimenting you on your work.
Wow! beautiful! You sounded a little critical towards the end but I think it's definitely a success! I love it (in fact, maybe even prefer it) the wrong way up too! Thanks for the vid. Endless possibilities when crafting with resin :) xxx
WOW, that's awesome! It -is- reminiscent of a geode, and this one almost looks like a portal of some kind; purple nebulaic gas surrounding some kind of celestial crystal! I'd LOVE to have one of these ^_^ Please keep up the great work!
Loved it. Might leave the black layer off the one I will make. Amethyst is actually my birthstone so this will be an addition for my room. Thanks for showing it can be done.
I work with fused glass and this is just amazing you have giving me some ideas, and also i want to start playing with resin, Awesome video Thank you for sharing
Eddie Byrne Thanks Eddie for taking the time to comment. I've done some fused glass, but the resin is easier! I have a small kiln and don't have a great place to use it. I'm glad you are getting some ideas!
That does look really awesome and pretty close to an amethyst geode. I know because that is my favorite and I stare at pictures of them often for hours at a time on the internet. :D I may not have the inks or the powders but I usually always have that glass. Dichroic is one of my favorites. I have a glass fusing kiln - just a small one - but we all have to start somewhere yeah? :D - Heidi
That is gorgeous! You could try using some chunky clear stuff in the center before you add any resin, to keep the resin from flowing right into the center. (I have a bag of clear acrylic chunks from Michaels or the dollar store, can't remember which.) I am definitely going to have to try this, although maybe on a smaller scale!
If we buy on Amazon for molds do we use your name? I so new to crafting and buying craft supplies...I am looking to find my nitch as I have a big desire to try and create something ...thank you
Just had to watch this video again. I think this is my favorite coaster that you made. I was surprised that you only waited 5 hrs between layers. I thought you had to wait 12 or 24 between layers. I have had my things to make coasters for a while now but had to wait until I got my cabochons from ebay to put in them. I am just watching more of your videos before I start. I am going to try & make a lot of them to sell at my apts yearly yard sale. What do you feel is a good price to sell each one at? All together buying glitter & cabachons & beads mold & resin I bet I spent about 6 or 7 hundred dollars so I am going to try & make some money back.
It depends on what you are doing to the layers. If you are doing multiple pours and don't want them to mix, but aren't putting anything on them (like a sticker) you don't have to wait that long. I'm glad you like it. I hope you get started soon and I hope you sell tons!
those are so pretty :-) if ever i get a chance to make some of my own i'm gonna use some pink in it as well as some purple and blue to make different colored ones :-) great job on this!
Hi Bunny , can you tell me what you put in as your search. I tried but didn't find any tutorials. And did it give instructions on how to make one, or have you made one, that you don't mind sharing your technique. Thanks and cheers Rosie..
Very Pretty! I just ordered a mold and I am going to attempt to make a coaster.. :) I have used resin, but never thought to make a coaster - Thank for inspiring :)
Denise Johnson Sorry for ask but what is a coaster? must have a standard or normal dimension? I assume is something to put under something. Sure am going to buy the mold and make orgonite stuff. I live in Mexico City. Thank you.
Hi sweet heart I think it turned out very very good I loved it I hope mine will be as pretty as yours turned out Thank you so much for your video bless you
Looks great for your first Geo coaster!!!! What if you mix glass shards as well as large and small crystals of rock salt?? Might that give you the texture you were looking for??
I'm so inspired by this video! I'm wanting to create some myself using the materials you have, could you please comment the materials you used, I know you listed in the video but would be a little easier for me to have them wrote down. Thank you for the video, love it so much!
+Jewish Royalty It's called dichroic glass. Sometimes Hobby Lobby carries small pieces. Otherwise they have some available on Amazon, like this pack: amzn.to/20GOLf3 or Delphi Glass carries it.
Idk why these are oddly so satisfying to watch...
+SeoJinnn I'm glad you think so!
Your projects are so cool. Thanks for the inspirations.
Thank you so much, Paul!

Love the effect you got and it's my color! Using CD chips would be. Great way to recycle. Happy Easter.
Loved it. Might leave the black layer off the one I will make. Amethyst is actually my birthstone so this will be an addition for my room. Thanks for showing it can be done.

If you can't get ahold of the dichroic glass, you can try "disco glitter" from your local craft shop. It has a similar iridescence to it. :x
Looks great for your first Geo coaster!!!!
What if you mix glass shards as well as large and small crystals of rock salt?? Might that give you the texture you were looking for??
