Isn't that the point, I mean after the Republic era of Jedis, the new Force Wieldiers are not Jedi Masters or Sith Lords that fight gracefully and looks like they're dancing. They're going to fight like novices and try to add their own style of lightsaber combat.
@@supersonicx7216 yea you re right and not only that they did just rewrite rhe originals in a different way and ruined those characters. But still i think that trilogy has soo much potential that can be told, soo many quesrions to be answered and i believe once the hate is gone disney will make some shows about these and the trilogy would be seen better just the same scenario with the prequels
I feel like it actually kind of works like Kylo Ren due to his poncy and glib personality. We see that Kylo Ren was determined to live up to what Darth Vader was, and tried to emulate him as he saw him in his mind. I’d say being as young as he was he probably interpreted Vader in a more exaggerated way, reflected in how he almost tries to posture and present himself as this angry, badass, edge-lord-type character. Examples of this include some of his language (e.g. I’ll show you the dark side), the way he screams at his enemies and throws those amusing fits in force awakens, and his mask that is likely based off Vader’s, the difference being that Ben doesn’t need his to live. The aggressive, chaotic way he weilds his lightsaber could be seen as another example of this, particularly if they’d stayed true to the older choreography for other characters, which would make Ben’s more unique. These things all feel like forced, desperate attempts for him to be as feared as Vader, but mostly just earn him mockery and derision (E.g. Snoke mocking his mask and Poe finding it hard to understand his distorted voice, as well as his tantrums being played for laughs). His mask in particular can thus be interpreted as a symbol of how most of his behaviour and presentation is just for show. He tries to be, in Snoke’s words, “the new Vader”, but comes off as “a child in a mask”. But I mean all this in a good way as I think it’s an interesting idea for a Star Wars villain.
You should make another edit with this song but having Rey as the protagonist. It fits her so well!!! "Oh, the misery. Everybody wants to be my enemy" I mean that's not a lie, almost every fan hates her 😂😂😂
Even though the lightsaber duels and choreography are not good i still enjoy the sequel trilogy and kylo ren is my favourite character in this trilogy
