Genshin to me is different. I have already 100% all 3 islands (well at least it says 100%). and done/collected everything I can do.
However, I don't really care. To me the best part of this game is being able to wake up looking forward to doing something. I login, do my dailys (hope for some good RNG achievements), Spend all my resin, Maybe redecorate my home, do some grinding, then log off.
That is enough for me. The events and updates are just the cherry on top. So as for a "Content Drought" it does not affect me as it might a streamer (who has to please others and doing grinding for 2 hours a day would not really be that pleasing)
i have the same mentality with my gacha games. Arknights, genshin, and langrisser, is just grind out, get my daily rewards and save up for summons/ new content. i do them, my dailies on APex and then usually play a game im grinding on ps4, but working a full time job, i dont have alot of time, i have 100% Narukami island, but i havent even touched the third island yet
The right mindset it's more to the game then listening to characters talk
Exactly you should never treat genus in as your main game. I like to think of it as my favourite second game, something which I play when there’s content but not a game that provides endless content.

In my playthrough right at 17:30 my MC got blasted by lightning and launched out of the cutscene.
Lol the exact same thing happened to me, it appeared like Kokomi was talking to herself it was so damn funny 😂
I got hit by lighting in cutscenes so many damn times its not even funny anymore lmao
I am so sick of the lightning doing that! But I also dont feel like doing the quest to get rid of it lol 😅
i kept getting hit by lightning during the archery thing it was so frustrating

In order to avoid rushing content, I have decided to do quests without using the navigation so that I will just kinda accidentally stumble upon them every so often while exploring.
I just do it when I feel really bad or get ultra trash artifacts. It's a fun thing that I don't want to run out of.
If my objective is less then 300m away, I would just walk

I avoid using fast travel, and just sprint to the destination. I alway find new stuff, but it’s getting to the point where the journey is mostly barren wasteland. Music is still good to listen to tho.

Man I really want to see the other islands of inazuma be added. Especially that one island that kinda reminds me of dragonspine. Makes me think its where baal resides.

They will go bankrupt cuz no one will bother spend $$$ anymore since abyss already give us ton of gems
Even if they did make it reset once a week I can almost guarantee that they would either remove the primo rewards in place of mora/books/crystals or the primo rewards would be so reduced that it wouldn't even be worth it.

Yow it doesn't matter if Mtashed doesn't use JP or whatnot, he's definitely a bonafide man of culture. Ngl, right now Mtashed is much more fun to watch than any other genshin creator out there and it's relieving to see that he still loves genshin despite taking breaks from it back then.

@@TigerKwan yeah that would be amazing they should add things like that and maybe they could add like a guild system and there could be guild challenges which give you materials or exp books or you can trade a limited amount of talents and other things maybe even artifacts a week or something, all mihoyo needs to do is keep slowly adding things like that and it would be amazing

there is a free chess everyday if you finish that quest.. just put naku weeds in basket then you can back per day to claim the chess.

He's absolutely right, though. We will get three more isles and that's it, for next +12 months we will be back to shitty mini games every week. Unless miHoYo makes a serious change and, for example, make chests in the world respawn every week, there's just not enough content and there's no point in pulling for new characters - because where will you even get to play them?
I don't empathize with the complaining either, I play 2-4 hours a day and it's not enough to do everything in the game. I understand it's a problem for whales and content creators who play all day, but my f2p AR 55 ass hasn't even beat spiral abyss yet. 🤷
@@4RedJohn IT WAS FKING DESIGNED AS A CASUAL GAME! That's why the resin system even exist in the first place. Nobody told you to play 25hrs a day, finish all chests and quests within a week which would normally take a year if you play how it was intended to. Besides there's always resin to burn, spiral abyss, teapot to design , characters to build.

@@theallseer7308 That's the point, I didn't. There's still lots of exploring before me. But I know it will eventually burn out, as it's not enough to cover an entire next year. Besides, what point are you even defending here? What do you have against adding repeatable content to the game? I, for example, play Genshin Impact to play Genshin Impact, not some silly minigames. I want to make use of the characters I've grinded for, not glide for 60 primogems.

I only have two islands at 60%. Been sorta taking a break from exploring in inazuma. Waiting for Baal to fight Baal in archon quest. It's not going anywhere. Only things I speedrun are the events that come out for the primos haha. Oh I also did some world quests to open inazuma reputation.
Using Baal against herself is a bad idea. Boss Baal is immune to electro damage.

You know Mtashed this is a game that even kids can play and enjoy so even a 9 year old that mistakely clicked youtube ad can play this. That's why the game is easy as hell.

Have you not fixed the weather on that island? I fixed that far before getting to that point in the Archon Quest.... Also, Gorou was using his bow in the thick of the battle, before Sara... and his growl~ so cute! Honestly, Sara is one of the character's I'm least excited for rn... First is Aloy, then Gorou and Tohma/Thoma/Inazuma-Childe, followed by Yoimiya and Kokomi. Then Yae Miko.. and finally Baal and Sara....
Me who's been mostly ignoring chests and stuff for quests so I only have like 30% cleared on any island
i think they are going to add a weekly boss when other islands come and the main story of inazuma finishes

As a person getting into the game late kinda suck that's they don't do the special character banner and a rerun banner at the same time like at the end of the day it's the same money and code but I gotta wait for new characters then reruns ? The way I see it at least I'll get them for free hopefully

2:55 This quest WOULD have been amazing, if the majority of its cutscenes hadn't bugged out on PS4.
The scene before the Baal fight, with Traveler snat hing Thoma's Vision from the air before Baal could have it? Didn't play.
The scene after the Baal fight, where Thoma hurls the spear and saves our asses after we Baal disables us (including my Zhongli, who doesn't even have a fucking Vision to disable!!)? Didn't play.
The scene of the Resistance fighting Sara's troops, where Beidou and Kazuha and Kokomi show up? Didn't play.
Oh, and Kokomi was then entirely invisible while she was talking to me after that last skipped scene. I was LIVID.
