Thanks for showing how low the motor can spin and how low the power can go before stalling when the speed is being controlled! I get it's around 30W min, would be amazing for a tiny field chiller or mini fridge. I've built similar stuff with reclaimed dehumidifier compressors, but they're all 230V AC and constant speed, they need an external inverter to run in a car, or in the field with batteries! Also most of them draw 90-150W and are hard to start on low-power inverters. Given how oversized they are for many applications, you need to turn them on and off frequently, further complicating the matter. This little thing could actually run at capacity!
