You can actually see how strong Bucky is when he's in the Winter Soldier mode. After Zemo mentioned the two last words, only he manage to destroy the door.
I’m pretty sure Bucky could have busted out any time he wanted. He made a point earlier in the film he doesn’t want to kill anyone when and chooses not to kill anyone when running away from the authorities. Maybe he thought he would be safer for everyone if he remained in that container. Unfortunately they needed a more sturdy container / cell if he could just punch his way out.

Bucky is still exceptionally strong and a super-soldier he just doesn't want to use those abilities to hurt anyone. So I guess he did choose to stay in that container.

As a person who knows Russian, that was VERY bad Russian. If not for the English subtitles, I'd never decipher what Zemo was saying. Winter Soldier's "I'm ready to answer/я готов отвечать" was spot on though.
Pretty sure that was intentional Russian isn't Zemo's main language, while the Winter Soldier was "programmed" in Russian, so it makes sense for him to speak it fluently

The Journey that Sam and Bucky as well as Zemo went through is tremendous man. This just goes to show that the MCU is on point and the writers for The Falcon and The Winter Solider is doing a phenomenal Job developing these characters and interconnecting every movie and story point however big or small 😎👊

It's the winter soldier theme, it's mainly made out of buckys screams, the sound of the train he fell out and the sound of the machine he was tortured with... it's a quite brutal piece of music

They had to delay filming any of Sebastian’s scenes for this movie because his original arm no longer fitted him, neither did the one they made for his fitting for this movie because he bulked up to much. So Sebastian was over a week behind everyone else shooting wise while the props department took another cast and remade him another metal arm!
As much as I hate Zemo, he really is a great foil for Bucky because they are mirrors of each other. Both suffered horrifically; but Bucky chooses to try to see the good in the world and protect people. Zemo chose to become a monster.
You know what, I actually agree with Zemo. Not everyone has a heart of gold like Steve Rogers, and not everyone should be allowed to become super soldiers
The fact that they literally don't have a series about how Bucky lived as HYDRA assassin when captain just slept for 70 years is still ridiculous..he was alive and kicking without knowing anything about his identity and had many missions more than 50 years. Bucky Barnes was barely found and we still don't know how he got away from hydra ans couldn't destroy the book of code words to activate his winter soldier mode. Or other super soldiers that used the serum..how Zola change his life or how the previous doctor (injected serum to Steve Rogers before he was killed) Based on comics or not his character is more deep and richer than Steve Rogers. He literally didn't die for more than 70 years and never thought about it coz always frozen and wiped out after every mission.. the shield and hydra would make a great dark themed sick assassin's Creed series.
I think what sells this scene is that Bucky isn't just angry; he's *_terrified and deeply disturbed._* He wanted to leave the Winter Soldier in the past, be free of the nightmares, let his pain slip away, and Zemo was dragging out the worst of it.
The way Bucky tries to plead with Zemo to stop saying the trigger words and his bottom lip was actually trembling. (Just before he says "stop" the first time). He doesn't want to hurt people, he really doesn't *leave him alone*. Although I haven't forgotten the HISHE version where he just breaks out of the arm restraints and sticks his fingers in his ears.
Protect Bucky at all costs. Also, imagine being brainwashed so many times and being forced to do horrible things. Edit: the first time he got brainwashed, it was sad cause Steve thought Bucky died when he fell from the train and the fact that Bucky didn’t remember him

You can tell in bucky’s voice that he regrets everything and is fighting so hard to not be the winter soldier anymore and that he is pain thinking about being him again. It’s so sad.
To be honest Bucky could have sing or yell something loud enough so that he won’t hear those words,like covering his ears and go “lalala I can”t hear you”

I don't know why but I want the old bucky back, there's something about him which I like. The fact that he never used to pull his punches before made him more dangerous, which were the best thing about him. I just kind of miss the old merciless winter soldier.

It's the winter soldier theme, it's mainly made out of buckys screams, the sound of the train he fell out and the sound of the machine he was tortured with... it's a quite brutal piece of music
The UN building was in Vienna which makes me question why Zemo sent to a German prison instead of an Austrian prison

They had to delay filming any of Sebastian’s scenes for this movie because his original arm no longer fitted him, neither did the one they made for his fitting for this movie because he bulked up to much. So Sebastian was over a week behind everyone else shooting wise while the props department took another cast and remade him another metal arm!
Sebastian Stan was casted perfectly for this role. Can't imagine anyone else playing TWS

As much as I hate Zemo, he really is a great foil for Bucky because they are mirrors of each other. Both suffered horrifically; but Bucky chooses to try to see the good in the world and protect people. Zemo chose to become a monster.
You know what, I actually agree with Zemo. Not everyone has a heart of gold like Steve Rogers, and not everyone should be allowed to become super soldiers

The fact that they literally don't have a series about how Bucky lived as HYDRA assassin when captain just slept for 70 years is still ridiculous..he was alive and kicking without knowing anything about his identity and had many missions more than 50 years. Bucky Barnes was barely found and we still don't know how he got away from hydra ans couldn't destroy the book of code words to activate his winter soldier mode. Or other super soldiers that used the serum..how Zola change his life or how the previous doctor (injected serum to Steve Rogers before he was killed) Based on comics or not his character is more deep and richer than Steve Rogers. He literally didn't die for more than 70 years and never thought about it coz always frozen and wiped out after every mission.. the shield and hydra would make a great dark themed sick assassin's Creed series.

I think what sells this scene is that Bucky isn't just angry; he's *_terrified and deeply disturbed._* He wanted to leave the Winter Soldier in the past, be free of the nightmares, let his pain slip away, and Zemo was dragging out the worst of it.
This scene hits different after you saw episode 4
The way Bucky tries to plead with Zemo to stop saying the trigger words and his bottom lip was actually trembling. (Just before he says "stop" the first time).
He doesn't want to hurt people, he really doesn't *leave him alone*. Although I haven't forgotten the HISHE version where he just breaks out of the arm restraints and sticks his fingers in his ears.
