I Strumbled (getit???!) across your channel via the algorithm. So glad I did. I've so far watched your journey from St Dogs to Trefin. I'm planning on doing the Pembs coast path, probably next year as I lived there most of my life. We moved to Abercastle from Derbyshire when I worra lass and I've since lived in Abereiddy, St.D's,Solva. Now in Crumarthen. I'm off to Trefin later to visit famalam. I was yelling to head for Trefin instead of having to walk up that hill! I'm looking forward to bingeing on all your other vids.. especially the Peak District. Thank you so much 😊
@gromlynne3550 Wow you are so lucky to have lived in both of those beautiful areas, so our channel is ideal for you then! I'm currently still working on a plan to escape London to be nearer the Peak District as there are just no real hills down this way. I didn't mind how we got to Trefin as long as we could get to the pub after that huge walk. Glad you enjoyed Strumbling across the channel - Don
Many years back, when I was a parttime fireman, we had a gorse fire at Pwll Deri, A colleague and I spent the night there while the rest of our crew went home, we stayed to make sure the fire didn't start up again. lying down in the heather was really comfortable. We took it in turns to have a snooze.
Bloody hell David, that sounds a bit intense and amazing. You could have done with all the rain that we had, and we could have done with those dry conditions!
This is brilliant news! Triple figures! Thanks Deb and all of our other subscribers, this means a lot to us - our philosophy is to do this on merit rather than asking people to subscribe. Onwards and upwards... as Jan would say! Best wishes, Don
Thanks Deb, glad you enjoyed - that one really took it out of us, loaded up with food and water, and it's the longest day we've done on the path to date. Proud to have got through it and to have seen all of that marvellous scenery. Don
