The true nature of Loki’s fruit is that it’s actually the Wano Wano no mi which allows him to perfectly analyse any part of Wano. The Morj Government has been trying to cover up its existence for years which is why we still don’t have a Wano video essay
Am I the only one who thinks Loki won't be a VILLAIN this arc? I mean, he can be an antagonist, but I doubt a villain. The fact that he killed his father can be a misunderstanding (like the Cobra assassination), or at least something not so simple as a parricide for the sole purpose of acquiring a devil fruit/power. What cements this for me is the first encounter of Luffy and Loki. Luffy just... smiles. I don't think there's ever been a case where he met a villain and didn't automatically get on bad terms with him/her.
THIS!!! I can't believe more people aren't picking up on this detail. Luffy's instinct when it comes to people is absolutely flawless, there's NO way Loki is a bad guy if he approached him so cheerfully. I also think he didn't kill king Harald. My theory is that it was the WG, and that this is when they stole the Nika fruit that later Shanks stole from them. So yeah, the "Legendary" fruit they are talking about is indeed Luffy's fruit, they just think Loki ate it when in reality he didn't (he may or may not have eaten ANOTHER fruit, that part I'm not sure about)
This also goes along with the mythical Loki, since most of his stories involve the other gods force him to fix their problems, wither he’s responsible or not. He’s essentially the scapegoat of the gods.
I definitely agree. When they said "When he was born they called him the "accursed prince"" this told me that he was already being judged to be cursed before performing any evil deeds.
Luffy meeting him paralleled his first meeting with Zoro but it doesn't seem people have picked up on that at all. Similarly both Loki/Zoro were labelled as villains, Zoro strung up in near crucifix like fashion/Loki is set to be crucified, Luffy seemingly seeing past all of that and recognising some good in them. I think the parallel in some way is a call back to how the story started and also a signal that we're nearing the end on top of the allusions to Ragnarok as well.
You’re not the only one. I don’t think Loki is a villain either. Elbaph is unique because we don’t have a clear villain yet. It could very well be an arc that ends without a clear villain unless Oda brings in the Holy Knights. Now, THAT would be fun to see.
I think it's the Jormungandr (World Serpent) Fruit Mythical Zoan Snake Snake Fruit Model Jormungandr • Jormungandr is a son of Loki that holds the world in place by wrapping itself around the world and biting its tail and when Jormungandr is released Ragnarok (the end of the world) begins. • When Jormungandr is released, it causes mighty waves, flooding the lands during Ragnarok. • In chapter 129, Dorry and Brogy mentioned the 'Greatest Serpent' as the only thing that can withstand their attack. How would they know unless they had tried? • The fruit that was passed on for generations in the Royal family is the Mythical Zoan Jormungandr. Loki stole the fruit cause he had ambitions to change the world for good by causing Ragnarok (the end of the world). • During Nolands flashback, in chapter 287 Kashigami the giant snake was called the 'God of Sun'. This could be the reason why Loki thinks he's the Sun God. • The Sun will bring forth a new dawn by ending the world of darkness. Maybe Loki wants to end the world of darkness and bring the Dawn, that's why he's calling himself the Sun God. • Loki and Snakes: In Norse mythology, Loki was punished by being bound in a cave to suffer snake venom dripping onto his face until Ragnarok. In the manga, Loki has his tongue out like a snake. • Loki the serpent stealing a forbidden fruit on the Adam Tree (Yggdrasil) kind of like the Serpent in the Garden of Eden. • In Norse Mythology, when Loki writhes in pain it causes earthquakes. In chapter 1130 Luffy hears a 'roar' noise and the bridge shakes. Maybe that was Loki suffering his punishment. • What we know for sure is; 1. The Devil Fruit is very powerful. 2. It has been in Elbaph for centuries. 3. It can cause the end of the world. 4. There's a Great Serpent in Elbaph that even Dorry and Broggy combined can't damage.
I think the World Government killed the king, stole his fruit, then blamed it all on Loki. Loki told Shanks what happened, the Red Hair Pirates went and recovered the fruit, then they planned to return it to Elbaph, but Luffy ate it instead.
@@primesonic4459 If his father had the Nika fruit and title of Sun God, Loki would inherit it after his death. I think the World Governments scheme was making Loki look like the killer so they didn’t start a war. The other giants believed the lies and blamed Loki for everything, so he has been unable to claim his father’s throne, and never got the fruit because it was stolen by the Government. He calls himself The Sun God because it is his title by right, it was just taken from him.
Considering the giants wouldn't be working for the government nor would they believe them, as per tradition, we should take the Giant's words as fact and correctly presume that Loki killz his father and eats the fruit!
@@DANCERcow The government is sneaky, Cipher Pol manipulated Water 7 for years without being noticed. They could’ve easily done something similar on Elbaph. Also we’ve seen that some giants are very gullible, the exploding drink on little garden turned 2 best friends against each other, and the giants at Enies Lobby stayed there for years because they believed the marines lies.
Whatever the fruit ends up being called, I think the powers will still be loosely based on Surtr. Since Surtr is a flame giant, this could be why Loki considers himself a "sun" god. Surtr uses a giant sword in Norse mythology and theres the giant sword there. In the end oda will have his classic twist but i think the fruit being inspired by Surtr is highly likely.
It would also be a perfect explanation as to why Hajrudin really wanted to get the mera mera no mi, since Ace's power has been compared to the sun before.
his fruit is too mimic whatever he sees when uffy shows up he senses the sungod is there and exclaims hes about to turn into the sun god aka mimiks luffy now as a sungod he will try to destroy everything (my theory)
@obad7633 if he has such a legendary devil fruit i would assume he's being held by sea prism, which *should* mean his fruit powers won't work. I know luffys body was still rubber under arlong park, but that is the overwhelming exception to the rule of sea prism/water draining you of your powers. We'll see what oda does
Would make sence Loki's named "The shame of elbaph". If he ate the literal personification of their highest god, who embodies warrior's pride and honor, after getting it through cowardly murder, seems like the biggest FU someone could give to giant culture.^^
According to google translate, In Japanese Eru-Ba-Fu "得 場 負" translates to "Win, Lose" as in "win or lose". This corresponds to the warrior god favoring competition. Eru "得" is a hand lifting a cowrie shell from a road; meaning: "Obtain" In Japanese & "Must/Have to" the original Chinese. Ba "場" is potters clay next to the sun & it's rays; meaning: "Place" in Japanese & "Field" In Chinese. Fu "負" is a person with a cowrie shell, meaning: "Negative" in Japanese & "Burden" in the Chinese. So all together, EruBaFu means: "Win or Lose" (Got of battle) / "Pick up the sun & Carry it" (Sun god) / "Obtain the place that is Not" (The empty throne) / "Obtain No Place" (Not allowed to sit on the throne)
@@bennett4789 idk if you know this... but one piece wasn't originally written in English 😂 there's English text in it, but the vast majority of One Piece was written in... Japanese!
@@gurururuwarararara8164 ... are you guys stupid? one piece is in japanese but it includes countless puns in english. for example, monkey is not a japanese word. d is not a japanese letter. elbaph is an island associated with usopp, who is named after aesop. what is aesop known for? aesop's fables. FABLE AS IN ELBAF. give me a break
@@Black-Moustachea phoenix hasn’t been shown to have existed in OP either yet it’s a fruit. The name may not be surtur but the concept is still possible.
Wait. That makes sense. Baldr weakness was mistletoe. Specifically a mistletoe arrow was used. Usopp shoots plants....what if he shot a mistletoe arrow or bullet that slew "Baldr" or whoever, being manipulated by Loki to do so? 😮
Dorry and Braggy might've only mentioned the god Elbaph before because he's a war god and they were focused on their battle. That doesn't have to be the biggest or most important god in the country or even to them. Just saying
I get what youre saying but they named their island after him. Also, giants live for war and battle which is what the god Elbaph represents. And the kingdom of Elbaph is called WARland. This all points to Elbaph being their most sacred god with the only other option being Nika.
People take Vegapunk’s explanation of devil fruits way too literally when he was very likely speaking metaphorically. It is much more likely that the technologically advanced Ancient Kingdom created Devil fruits with science. They weren’t just willed into existence with thoughts and prayers.
With science you still need to want to make something for it to exist so dreams and science together people could have voted for the powers they wanted then created like someone ordering food.
THANK YOU! Finally someone gets it. People really jump to absurd conclusions and take everything at face value. Vegapunk's theory is just a theory and it can have different interpretation. He could be right on some level but NOT objectively correct until actual proof is shown. Also, My thoughts exactly on the origin of devil fruits.
Maybe it is in the middle. Maybe the humans like nika did exist and he had so strong will (haki) that it got a new characteristic. Then his power has been sealed in fruits with some technology using the sea devils.
@@theone4821 I dont think there are absurd conclusions in One Piece. I see your point about the technology being the source of the fruits. But imo, its kinda lame. Plus it was already done in a certain way with the Smiles and Momos fruit. So Oda reusing this for such a huge thing would be really, really lame. Vegapunks explanation would fit perfectly into the the theme of willpower that One Piece has. Having a strong will is literally THE biggest power a character can have. So fruits being a product of insane willpower/desire, would a logic next step. Also it would be a cool wink to the evolutionary theory of Lamarck. That being said, its probably a mix of both. I dont think oda is dropping this huge info just as a red herring. There probably is some truth to it.
Everyone understood Vegapunk wrong. Is not that people dreams literaly manifested in fruits. But that something created devil fruits, to them satisfie humans dreams. Since the start of one piece, Oda has being saying that the fruits exist to serve human needs. Like having the Mera Mera no Mi would allow you to cook some meat. Hana Hana no Mi allow you to do multiple tasks at once, etc. They exist to satisfie dreams. But what created them is likely technology or magic of a ancient civilization. But that dont matter, what matters is that the purpose of devil fruit is to satisfie human needs, and that is true since the start of one piece.
Morj thats a bad translation. In the officials it doesn't say God Elbaf. Just God OF Elbaf which isa different statement. So if their "God" is just the Sun God: There is no retcon.
In chapter 119 Dorry says “This is the Judgment of Elbaph, The God Of War!!!” Luffy replies “Would you give up your life just ‘cause the Gods wanted you to!!?” Dorry says “You humans have only lived 10 or 20 years, You can’t possibly understand the sacred words of Elbaph”
It's not a bad translation issue, because even in the official Viz version, Dorry and Brogy still refer to "Elbaph" as being the name of a deity, in the official Viz translation of chapter Dorry as a line that goes as follows: "This is the judgement of Elbaph, the God Of War!!"
Maybe it’s simply the war war fruit or the warrior warrior fruit. Loki says they are in the kingdom of warriors and the nation lived and breathed warfare. Witnessing a warrior fruit would also put an interesting twist on usopp’s dream
It's also possible without any retcon that dorry and brogy specifically worship god elbaph above the other gods, including the sun god, because those 2 specifically value strength and being a warrior above all else. But that the majority of the pirates worship the sun god more
Remember that Vegapunk's explanation of how Devil Fruits are created was intentionally incredibly vauge. We still don't know what the process is for one to form, we just know that they don't spontaneously, randomly form, they form somehow based on the desires of people. Clearly, just because something is sought after doesn't mean there's a Devil Fruit for it, or at least that hasn't been a highlight of the series. If Vegapunk didn't say what he said specifically, none of us would've guessed that they had anything to do with the desires of people. For all we know, "dreamed up by someone else before them" could literally mean that people of the past engineered the Devil Fruits based on things they wanted. It could also be that the fruits form by magic, but with some criteria that has to be met for the formation to take place.
It’s almost assuredly just science that created them. Devil fruits tie to your soul as they can reincarnate themselves automatically using it. This sounds like magic or wishes but Vegapunk specifically brought up the weight of a soul being tangible pointing towards the idea that all the magic of Devil fruits truly is just the hyper advanced science of the AK.
"Wealth. Fame. Power. The man who had everything in this world... The mangaka, Eiichiro Oda. The great treasure he left behind, The Wano Analysis has opened the curtain on a grand era! It is a time when eager piecetubers find evidence, debate and become great! The Great Age of Milking! Words he spoke drove countless men out to the platform. And so Morj set sights on the Grand Line, in pursuit of his dreams. The world has truly entered a Great Milking Era!”
My thoughts about Loki calling himself the sun god, and the sword follow a similar path. Let’s consider the fact that Elbaph is based off of Norse mythology. In this Surtr is a fire giant that wields a massive sword used to destroy Asgard. Could Loki have some sort of Surtr complex, or the surtr fruit (elbaph fruit?) This is why he wants to destroy the world (asgard)
So most theories right now point to these possibilities: -Snake fruit world eater model -Wolf fruit -Elbaf fruit -No devil fruit (somehow it was stolen from him)
Stolen from him by Who's Who but retrieved from Shanks and accidently eaten by Luffy. Then later in the story gets picked up and escorted by the giants some time after his new wanted poster of gear 5 was posted because he looked like the Sun God.
I'm enjoying the video but I have a small issue. I dislike how you tend to explain your predictions sometimes. You have a habit of speaking as if you can only be wrong if something is retconned. The god Elbaph could be big to Dorry and Braggy but not the kingdom which could be a reason for why your theory could end up invalid or the fruit could literally just not be a god fruit on the other hand. No retcon required though it is a really fun theory.
I agree. Dorry and Broggy might worship this god because they feel more connected to him as warriors themselves. Other people like the Buccaneers worship Nika because they have their own reasons to do so. Actually, I think the Elbaph arc could enlighten us more on the gods people worship in OP, like how many are they, what are their characteristics, their powers etc.
Thats what I kind of thought when he first said that but I think in this context its fine considering how dorry and broggy talk about how important elbaph is to giant culture
His speeches are always very rhetorical. He must have learned in debating 101 that the more you go from a wider argument to a more concise one, the better you’ll convince your audience but it doesn’t work every time. All of us agreeing on facts doesn’t mean the theories he builds from those will be true… (and we all have the same example in mind😂)
Loki’s fruit is the actual Gomu Gomu no mi. Really think about it. The 5 said that fruit doesn’t exist to their knowledge. I think the fruit were swapped many years ago and was told to the giants that it’s the sun god fruit when really it’s the gum gum. Think about it a gum human can still fight freely.
Im still curious as to how Elbaf can be a “Warland.” There must be factions other than the ruling family. In my head canon, now that we’ve seen the islands layout, it could be possible Ogres(Kaido) and Ancient giants are native to parts/levels of Elbaph. Perhaps the standard giant you see nowadays simply won the war for supremacy, nearly wiping the other two out.
I believe that the fruit they are talking about is actually luffys fruit because they don’t actually say that Loki eat the fruit so because luffy is the only one to sense him I believe that the fruit might be connected to Loki and if you remember, we still don’t have a reason why shanks was actually after the fruit incense he is tied directly to elbaf I think it’s possible to assume that’s where he was taking the fruit back to you also, if you think about the movie, the mask, Jim Carrey character is a lot like gear five and it’s explained in that movie that those powers come from Loki
Ask yourself why the Giant pirates made the journey to come pick Luffy...could it be that they had a reason to come get the Nika cause there is a tale passed down in Elbaf about Nika saving them?
I mean instead of a god of war he could have heimdalls all seeing eyes, heimdall also had incredible memory, hearing, eyesight etc... so that would be consistent with the giants saying it took all of their power to stop him. heimdall also protected the bifrost bridge, which could be a reference to elbaf protecting the bridge to get to skypeia, plus he also had a sword which is (kind) of similar to the one shown. It could be called something different but the premise of lokis power could be the same. we could potentially get into the world of aesir, vanir and jotunn as well which are types of gods basically. lokis might fall under an aesir catagory, as he is related to war and nobility. Luffys fruit could fall under jotunn or aesir. so loki could literally have the odin fruit as odin was an aesir, balder or hlin would be another good options as he also had enhanced abilities and hlins description literally says he has the gift of supernatural combat.. this would apply to a lot of people too and its alot of theory crafting but. like bil and hjuki for example are a pair of twins or brother and sister and they are described as having supernatural fruit empowering abilities. so I'm may have a brother/ sister we havent seen yet who have taken fruits and given them a purpose with through devil fruits. it would make sense to if they where kids and didn't know what they were doing. Eir was a god that had the abilities of flawless healing and health manipulation and then you see someone like Kureha who didnt really give a solid explanation why shes so old and cant die, maybe she has that fruit who knows. theres alot of similarities between these gods and things we have already seen in the one pieces manga. and if oda has been waiting patiently to get to elbaf to drawe all this that would mean hes been thinking about it for a long time. it doesn't necessarily have to be exactly like that but i thought it was interesting just how convenient it is that the aesir, jotunn and vanir sort of fit perfectly into the story and would explain how we got things like devil fruit and would also explain why vegapunk thought it was basically peoples wishes that grew strong and formed into fruits well ya it literally couldv been bil and hjuki or rather im sama and their brother/ sister. even you go see someone like iounn who has the ability of plan manipulation, wood magic and vegetable magic etc... and who just got introduced in the story as an apparent force of nature with a strong DF? Ryokugyo of course lol its too perfect. Or Vioarr who is the god of space and we get introduced to a certain blind admiral not too long ago with a sword that can bend gravity to its will because it ate a DF... and we never found out where they got these two super powerful dudes with some of the strongest available fruits. or if the WG had them them then how. We could have a situation where ima and their sibling created the fruits to help people or for fun, without thinking etc... and people started using them and fighting over them and eventually im decided it was worth just ending everything slowly if maybe his sibling died as a result of the conflict etc... idk something to think about i guess since we have landed on the norse god route. I think it would make a lot of sense though. watch luffy be like ims nephew or something lol since we never saw luffys mom (im joking mostly). the 12 kingdoms in the past couldv potentially sent their best fruit users to fight im to try end the battle and that's why we see islands now that have been permanently changed like in the case of raijin island. would also explain how some fruits where lost to the WG if the user was taken down in battle and someone else found it or if they didn't know initially it would re emerge on another plant.
also i mean if not every fruit is based off of norse mythology then it could be a coming together of multiple religions wherein there couldv at one points been multiple gods in the one piece world
100%. And how is something said 23-25 years ago that only appeared in 1 or 2 chapters and was said in a matter that almost no one paid attention to the biggest retcon? Oh, because that would allow Morj to say (or think) that he would be right if Oda wouldn't have made a mistake... Even Morj didn't have God of Elbaph on his radar, only after researching for this Vid. I like Morj, but stuff like that makes me remember how unhinged and stubborn he was with the Raid Theory.
What if the tree itself is Elbaph? Greenbull was a tree man introduced right after the Sun God was revealed, he could've foreshadowed the reveal the next Skypeian God. Perhaps Elbaph is the Forest God that the Skypeians knew about
The Skypiea gods were pretty obviously Nika and the ancient weapons, literally all 3 named after gods. Rain-Uranus, Earth-Pluton, Forest-Poseidon and don’t forget how obsessed with forests Shirahoshi was
Yeah, Fenrir was chained in Norse myth. But, you know who else was also chained? Loki, himself was chained to the roots of Yggdrasil because of his role in the murder of another god.
@@FrostFireTiger I'm also not sure what Matthew said was correct in this comment section. Loki had snake venom dripping into his face, but I don't think it was ever specified that it was dripping into his eyes, so that's probably not the inspiration for why his eyes are covered.
Its too early to say that Loki really was the one who killed his father. Remember, there is always back story for any arc and maybe the king was really the defiant. Also, there is no link to IMU or the world government has something to do with elbaf that maybe wants them to be controlled. 😅 just my cents.
hito hito no mi model '' el baphomet '' which is the Devil giving loki all the norse god abilities and making it literally a counter to nika '' god / devil '' dynamic
@jacksblue nah this one is even worse its the gorosei that is gonna betray imu video. Go look it up its like 10 video down and then look at the comments hahahah its hilarious
This is definitely my new #1 theory when it comes to Loki’s fruit. I don’t know how many people remembered elbaph was the giant’s god I definitely didn’t.
i've read some crazy theory and i wanna hear ur opinon on it Theories and Connections Regarding Luffy, Joy Boy, and the World of One Piece 1. Joy Boy and Luffy’s Origin: • Luffy is theorized to be the son of the legendary figure Joy Boy, who may have been sent to the future and found by Dragon. This connection would explain Luffy’s unique lineage and extraordinary potential. • The name “Luffy” could derive from the English word “laugh,” which ties him to the concepts of joy and laughter, further connecting him to Joy Boy. 2. Dragon’s Role and Luffy’s Upbringing: • Dragon, realizing the need to change the world, may have left Luffy to be raised by Garp. This decision could have been influenced by the potential dangers or responsibilities linked to Luffy’s heritage. 3. Imu, Joy Boy, and the Nefertari Lineage: • Imu, a godlike figure, is suggested to have been in a rivalry with Joy Boy. There’s also speculation that Imu may have had a romantic connection with an ancestor of the Nefertari family. If Joy Boy also had ties to this ancestor, it could mean that Luffy, as Joy Boy’s descendant, has royal blood from the Nefertari lineage. • Additionally, it’s hypothesized that Nika, the Sun God, might have fallen in love with a woman from Earth, and Joy Boy could be the offspring of this union, further solidifying Luffy’s connection to this divine heritage. 4. The Gods and the Ancient War: • In the past, gods are believed to have lived on the moon, with Enel considering himself one of these gods, which explains his journey to the moon. • These gods eventually descended to Earth, leading to a war between those who sought peace with humans and those who wished to enslave them. Nika was on the side of humanity, freeing the slaves, but Imu managed to turn the gods into devil fruits through experimentation or maybe somehow Imu had the potential power as being connected with a devilish figure, to rule upon every soul that ate a devil fruit with bad aura. Much like Luffy has a white aura and the elder for example had a black aura. Maybe Imu has power over those kind of users. 5. Joy Boy’s Unique Role and the Nika Fruit: • Joy Boy, being a hybrid of Nika and a human, was the only one compatible with wielding the power of Nika’s devil fruit. This could explain why Luffy, as Joy Boy’s descendant, has the potential to fully utilize the Nika fruit’s powers. • Vegapunk’s research into bloodlines suggests that Luffy’s exceptional spirit and abilities could stem from his ancestry, particularly if he is indeed the son of Joy Boy and a Nefertari ancestor. 6. Imu’s Potential Power and the Nature of Devil Fruits: • There’s a theory that Imu may have power over devil fruit users, potentially able to manipulate the spirit within the fruits to overcome the user, meaning This could also explain the role of the Five Elders in the story. Probably Imu is a demon or ate a demon fruit similar to god sun Nika. One Piece Red film gave us a good introduction about demons exist. 7. The One Piece and Its Significance: • The One Piece might be the key to restoring the devil fruits to their original nature. It’s suggested that Joy Boy stole and reprogrammed it, and that the One Piece requires the presence of Nika (now Luffy) to be fully operational. • When Gol D. Roger said they arrived “too early,” it might have been because Nika had not yet manifested. Roger’s decision to reveal the existence of the One Piece may have been an attempt to set the stage for its discovery by the rightful heir-Luffy.
I think Loki has the mythical zoan type Model: Surtr , the strongest primordial titan that it is engolfed in flames ( thus he can represent the Sun, due to its representation of primordial fire), and this titan holds a giant sword. I also believe that Loki it is a character that is the inverse of Blackbeard, that he doesnt mind to get his hands dirty to acheive its goals for the greater good, even if it means to kill members of your own family. As for blackbeard, he does the same but uses for its own gain. Even so Loki has it is know to be the god of misthief/ lies. This Loki can also be represented as a villain and later on be reveal that he is in fact a hero ( being a facade/lie that he tells), that he doesnt mind to be protrait it to be the monster that its people seem to be believe. If as long that his goal it is completed, by "destroying" the world aka destroying the World goverment.
Another theory behind Loki I have is his wording of "I am the Sun God who will bring about the end of the world" it could also point to him being Skoll (this is taken from google) which means "Treachery" or "Mockery" a wolf that chases the Sun signaling Ragnarok. Though I'm more personally hoping it's a Legendary/Mythic version of Baby 5's Weapon Fruit being a Mjolnir Model.
I think it's possible that the fruit passed down through generations on elbaf was simply Luffy's fruit and Loki ended up eating a different fruit (maybe without knowing- that's why he thinks he's the sun god). It's said that model: nika stayed hidden for centuries and keeping it in the family would 100% do that. Plus, shanks is clearly connected to elbaf and he's the one who took the fruit back from the marines. Also, joy boy is said to be connected to giants as well. I think it would be a cool story wrap-up if Luffy had a fruit originating from elbaf.
My personal theory is that hajruden is the eldest son and heir to the late king, the process of passing down the devil fruit in the royal family is similar to passing the founder titan amongst the freis family in Aot. When hajruden got turned into a toy in dressrosa, everybody forgot about him so everyone thought loki was the rightful heir. And after loki took the fruit, hajruden returned to being a giant and everyone remembered him and to make sense of why loki took the fruit, then they assumed that it was out of malice and greed
Bro imagine this, Usopp dreams of being a brave WARRIOR of the sea, and he is referred to as GOD Usopp. Imagine Loki dying during this arc and Usopp ending up eating the fruit accidently during the end of arc feast, becoming literally a brave god warrior, He could then lead the elbaf nation for the finale war It could even grant him kings haki, kinda like how luffys COC seems to go ape shit in the sun god form, confirming usopps COC lie He would be the trickster Loki kinda deal ya know, It's cool cause it was hajruidin who lifted Usopp and did the whole god Usopp thing
Did a little research on Norse mythology, and there is a Sun god that is more like a god of light, so I think Lokis fruit is going to be more like an upgrade to Kizaru's fruit, the God of Light fruit, which makes sense for it to be very powerful and explains why all of the strongest of Elbaf giants were needed to stop him since he is most likely incredibly fast (and also might explain why he is in chains due to his proably godly speed). Regarding the eyes being covered maybe he can emit his light powers through his eyes as well.
Man the size of those beings wielding those weapons is beyond belief. The sword is about 3/4 of the tree itself and considering that its towering over mountains, those being are just Colossal
Hey Morj, I really really hope you will notice this comment. I just wanted to ask on what is the name of the FOOD APP/AD you used to promote before, the one where you subscribed to them and they will prepare your food by real chefs and deliver it to your doorstep. I need a subscription to that for my grandpops because he could never cook his food on his own anymore.
The only problem I have with this: I have not found any entry in the one piece wikia that mentions a god named elbaf. They mention a quote by dorry there, referring to "the god of elbaf". Still, it can be different from nika.
Loki reminds me of Fenrir's legend. Since all the giants had to chain him down. And Loki is talking about destroying the world. And in Ragnarrök, Fenrir eats the sun. Oda likes to drag in real life stuff as inspiration. So I think it's wise to look at the things he's taken inspiration from to deduce.
Morj seeing that this DF has been past down throughout the generations, do you think this arc will also show how that was done and maybe hint at how Blackbeard and his crew are able to steal DFs seeing that DFs don't just spawn in the same places?
If "Elbaf" is not only the island but also a God, then that makes Big Mom's phrasing of "gain use of the Elbaf Warriors" possibly have another interesting interpretation. Since in Norse mythology, all of the worthy warriors in Valhalla who have died throughout history participate in "Ragnarok". It leaves open the possibility of notable historical characters that have died temporarily coming back for it. (I would assume it would apply to only giants who have died, but it could also theoretically apply to people associated with the God Elbaf, people associated with the Island Elbaf, or even just worthy warriors from history in general. The power of the fruit could also potentially involve summoning them at will.
This brings be back to skypiea. There’s a scene where someone talks about the 4 gods, sun god, rain god, earth god and forest god. It’s safe to say dragon has the rain god fruit. There’s videos already claiming this theory. So his legendary fruit would have to be one of the other 2
There can only be 2, the wolf Fenrir or the dragon Fafnir, look. "When Loki killed Odder, Hreidmar received the cursed gold from Andvari as a way to mitigate his son's death. Regin and Fafner "killed their father" "to get the gold," but the latter decided he wanted it all for himself. He retired with the gold to the Gnita Heath, turning into a dragon (a symbol of greed)." PS: He is surrounded by wolves, sticks out his tongue like they and is chained like Fenrir, but like Fafner he killed his father and robbed him, so it could be either of the two 👍🏻
My theory: Loki tried to destroy the world before but shanks was able to stop him. Shanks together with other giants helped to chain him thats why world government respected shanks so much for this. When Shanks spoke with Gorosei, he was indeed referring to luffy. Maybe shanks shared that luffy might be the person who will potentially unchain loki.
I mean there is another option that we heard about from Oars' story, an island island or earth earth fruit which allows island moving or building. Maybe being an upgraded Paramecia like Morleys? But I think its the World Serpent, makes too much sense the bloody snake Dorry and Broggy couldn't cut was Harold in full zoan form. Also could be what Road dressed up as, a giant moose god like Cernunnos but also more like Sengokus Legendary Devil Fruit than turning into a real moose. Though Choppers fruit and Sabos fruit also fit.
I think the fruit its Surtur, because of the massive sword going threw Elbaf. In Norse mythology, Surtr (Old Norse "black"[1] "the swarthy one",[2] Surtur in modern Icelandic), also sometimes written Surt in English,[3] is a jötunn; he is the greatest of the fire giants, who serves as the guardian of Muspelheim which is along with Niflheim, the only two realms to exist before the beginning of time.[4] Surtr is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In both sources, Surtr is foretold as being a major figure during the events of Ragnarök; carrying his bright sword, he will go to battle against the Æsir, he will battle the major god Freyr, and afterward the flames that he brings forth will engulf the Earth. This fits so well!
Listening to Morj discuss about Loki and the island of Elbalf… it makes me think of Usopp’s original goal “…to a brave Warriors of the Sea!” When Loki is defeated/killed, the God Devil Fruit will be free to go to the owner of its choosing (GOD USOPP!!! 🤯😇🌅🙌🏻)
what about dorry/broggy mentioning the blood soaked serpent? how will that play into the ark? i recall hearing in some versions of mythology a serpent sucking on Yggdrasil roots. 15:30 Sanjuan Wolf has a devil fruit which allows him to become bigger.
iirc its "Elbaf's God" instead of "God Elbaf", with the early translations maybe being mistaken. I have to check the japanese version, but the official edition in my country says "God of Elbaf" so actually since Little Garden they were already talking about Nika
Even in the official Viz translation, Dorry and Brogy still refer to "Elbaph" as being the name of a deity, Dorry even has a line in chapter 119 in the official Viz which goes as follows: "This is the judgement of Elbaph, the God Of War!!" Dorry also even has another line where he says: "You humans have only lived for 10 or 20 years, you can't possibly comprehend the sacred words of Elbaph"
@@thatguynamedzeus5091 I got the japanese version now. Don't know how to upload it here lol But it says: エルバフ の神 (かみ) erubafu no kami The kanji means god/deity and かみ are the hiraganas for "ka" and "mi" So it reads "Elbaf's God" or "God from Elbaf"
@@RhBaes Which line is that kanji from specifically, because they are instances where they say "God Of Elbaph", however there are instances where they just say "Elbaph" when refering to a specific entity. Like when Dorry says "You humans have only lived for 10 or 20 years, you can't possibly comprehend the sacred words of Elbaph" Here, Dorry is clearly using "Elbaph" as a name, he doesn't say "Erubafu No Kami" in this specfic line, just "Erubafu"
@@RhBaes Yeah in that chapter, Dorry does say "Erubafu No Kami" which you mentioned does mean "God Of Elbaf" or "God from Elbaf" when translated, however in chapter 119 when Dorry is setting out to fight Brogy after being injured, he just says "Elbaph" and refers to it as the name of an entity. Or when Dorry says "A little one like you, who has only lived a mere 10 or 20 years, could not possibly comprehend the divine words of Elbaph" Again Dorry here simply says "Erebafu" and refers to it as a person.
That would just make his character false. His journey is to actually be a brave warrior, if he eats a DF to become it, then it's just empty. Imagine if Zoro ate the "Strongest swordsman" fruit it's basically that
You know how the shadow of Luffy dancing around the fire back at Skypiea was a hint at the sun god. the gigantic shadows we see chapter 221 pre-skypiea arc could be hints at a giant god fruit
Heads up, the shaking of the island is a reference to Norse mythology. After Loki is captured by the Aesir for killing Baldur he is chained up and has venom dripped on his head for eternity. Lokis wife catches it in a bowl but when she has to empty it a couple drops land on his head, which is why earthquakes exist from his painful shudders. When Loki is freed from that bondage he will start Ragnarok
If its a zoan fruit as Morj guesses, maybe it can be a fruit Bleachbeard steals and showcases how much powerful he becomes in a duel to the death with Shanks
I have another idea The legendary fruit of loki is: red serpent As dory and brogy said, it's the only thing they can not defeat with their dual power I guess loki can turn himself into enormous red serpent

At this point, we are going to get GTA6 before the wano video

I think it's the Jormungandr (World Serpent) Fruit
Mythical Zoan Snake Snake Fruit Model Jormungandr
• Jormungandr is a son of Loki that holds the world in place by wrapping itself around the world and biting its tail and when Jormungandr is released Ragnarok (the end of the world) begins.
• What we know for sure is;

That would be great. It could just be a different sun god.
Then Loki wouldn't claim to be the Sun God himself no?
Dude and Surtr is responsible for destroying Asgard in Ragnarok. Loki from one piece wants to destroy the world!
The goat of SMT
Either surtror jormungander would be cool.
Could explain why his bro wanted the Mera Mera
Why doesn't Loki claim to be the God Elbaph if the God Elbaph holds such prominence in Elbaph especially if he has eaten the Elbaf fruit?
Because he's crazy
his fruit is too mimic whatever he sees when uffy shows up he senses the sungod is there and exclaims hes about to turn into the sun god aka mimiks luffy now as a sungod he will try to destroy everything (my theory)
Probably Nika is the god of Elbaph thats why he claims to be the sun god.
@obad7633 if he has such a legendary devil fruit i would assume he's being held by sea prism, which *should* mean his fruit powers won't work. Would make sence Loki's named "The shame of elbaph". If he ate the literal personification of their highest god, who embodies warrior's pride and honor, after getting it through cowardly murder, seems like the biggest FU someone could give to giant culture.^^
You are spittin'!

Hmm, it would be weird to name your island after a god that wasn’t important.
I get what youre saying but they named their island after him. Also, giants live for war and battle which is what the god Elbaph represents. And the kingdom of Elbaph is called WARland. This all points to Elbaph being their most sacred god with the only other option being Nika.
I guess the wano video comments is the succesor of the raid failing comments
So if their "God" is just the Sun God: There is no retcon.
yeah i think the "sun god" is a living person who runs elbaf and these claims from loki of being the sun god are because he wants the throne
Yes, I was thinking that too. I remember reading it like 'god OF Elbaf' not 'god elbaf'.
In chapter 119 Dorry says “This is the Judgment of Elbaph, The God Of War!!!”
Luffy replies “Would you give up your life just ‘cause the Gods wanted you to!!?”
Dorry says “You humans have only lived 10 or 20 years, You can’t possibly understand the sacred words of Elbaph”
It's not a bad translation issue, because even in the official Viz version, Dorry and Brogy still refer to "Elbaph" as being the name of a deity, in the official Viz translation of chapter Dorry as a line that goes as follows:
"This is the judgement of Elbaph, the God Of War!!"

I think he has the actual gum gum fruit, but the nation of elbaf thinks it’s the nika fruit
So most theories right now point to these possibilities:
-Snake fruit world eater model
-Wolf fruit
-Elbaf fruit
-No devil fruit (somehow it was stolen from him)
Stolen from him by Who's Who but retrieved from Shanks and accidently eaten by Luffy. Then later in the story gets picked up and escorted by the giants some time after his new wanted poster of gear 5 was posted because he looked like the Sun God.
I´m going with Hito Hito no mi: Model Trump
Legendary power passed down through the royal family of giants - Ymir's Founding Titan?
I believe that the fruit they are talking about is actually luffys fruit because they don’t actually say that Loki eat the fruit so because luffy is the only one to sense him I believe that the fruit might be connected to Loki and if you remember, we still don’t have a reason why shanks was actually after the fruit incense he is tied directly to elbaf I think it’s possible to assume that’s where he was taking the fruit back to you also, if you think about the movie, the mask, Jim Carrey character is a lot like gear five and it’s explained in that movie that those powers come from Loki

hi bro
I wonder if Sengoku's Buddha fruit is considered legendary
Ask yourself why the Giant pirates made the journey to come pick Luffy...could it be that they had a reason to come get the Nika cause there is a tale passed down in Elbaf about Nika saving them?
My guess is that Loki either has the ' Forest God' or 'Earth God' fruit and i believe that Dragon had the 'Raiñ God' fruit
I think it would make a lot of sense though. watch luffy be like ims nephew or something lol since we never saw luffys mom (im joking mostly). the 12 kingdoms in the past couldv potentially sent their best fruit users to fight im to try end the battle and that's why we see islands now that have been permanently changed like in the case of raijin island. would also explain how some fruits where lost to the WG if the user was taken down in battle and someone else found it or if they didn't know initially it would re emerge on another plant.
also i mean if not every fruit is based off of norse mythology then it could be a coming together of multiple religions wherein there couldv at one points been multiple gods in the one piece world
09:30 some damage control in case the theory flops

And how is something said 23-25 years ago that only appeared in 1 or 2 chapters and was said in a matter that almost no one paid attention to the biggest retcon?
Oh, because that would allow Morj to say (or think) that he would be right if Oda wouldn't have made a mistake...
Even Morj didn't have God of Elbaph on his radar, only after researching for this Vid.
I like Morj, but stuff like that makes me remember how unhinged and stubborn he was with the Raid Theory.
@@MasterSabo05 because Oda did it before with Sanji, when he said casually he was born in the North Blue
I see no harm its all just a theory with some strong personal opinions on why he thinks it would be inconsistent even If others dont think so
What if the tree itself is Elbaph? Greenbull was a tree man introduced right after the Sun God was revealed, he could've foreshadowed the reveal the next Skypeian God. Perhaps Elbaph is the Forest God that the Skypeians knew about
The Skypiea gods were pretty obviously Nika and the ancient weapons, literally all 3 named after gods.
Rain-Uranus, Earth-Pluton, Forest-Poseidon and don’t forget how obsessed with forests Shirahoshi was
Maybe god elbaf is a giant giant and the legendary fruit makes giants even bigger. Explaining why there’s that giant sword
Loki being chained reminds me of Fenrir, an eternally-chained wolf of Norse mythology that is prophesized to set the world aflame when released.
Yeah, Fenrir was chained in Norse myth. But, you know who else was also chained? Loki, himself was chained to the roots of Yggdrasil because of his role in the murder of another god.
His eyes also had snake venom dripped into them, which is probably the inspiration for why his eyes are covered.
@@FrostFireTiger He wasn't chained to the roots of Yggdrasil tho
@@PMillan You are right. It was on stone slabs in a cave.
Mmm that last point about Loki being the sun God without really being the sun god but weilding it's power... is a stretch
I like how this guy states his theories as facts, it makes it even funnier when they get disproven 2 weeks later
Loki is gonna be a character of his own, that is completely unexpected of our expectations
Daily reminder about the morj sand wurm video that sht cannot be forgotten
What video is that? I remember the greenbull is zoro's father as his weakest theory🤣
@jacksblue nah this one is even worse its the gorosei that is gonna betray imu video. Go look it up its like 10 video down and then look at the comments hahahah its hilarious
Love this idea. It makes so much sense. I like Sun-Sun fruit idea, but this just fits into the narrative a bit more.
Blackbeard might have his hand on Loki’s fruit before the end
I thought loki would become the god of land as his devil fruit
This is such a great video, love how you connected those dots.
This is definitely my new #1 theory when it comes to Loki’s fruit. I don’t know how many people remembered elbaph was the giant’s god I definitely didn’t.
Usopp is going to end up with the fruit (or already has it) and be Luffy's rival for a time.
Couldn’t be that Legendary if he managed to get chained up like that.
i've read some crazy theory and i wanna hear ur opinon on it
Theories and Connections Regarding Luffy, Joy Boy, and the World of One Piece
1. Joy Boy and Luffy’s Origin:
• Luffy is theorized to be the son of the legendary figure Joy Boy, who may have been sent to the future and found by Dragon. This connection would explain Luffy’s unique lineage and extraordinary potential.
• The name “Luffy” could derive from the English word “laugh,” which ties him to the concepts of joy and laughter, further connecting him to Joy Boy.
2. Dragon’s Role and Luffy’s Upbringing:
• Dragon, realizing the need to change the world, may have left Luffy to be raised by Garp. This decision could have been influenced by the potential dangers or responsibilities linked to Luffy’s heritage.
3. Imu, Joy Boy, and the Nefertari Lineage:
• Imu, a godlike figure, is suggested to have been in a rivalry with Joy Boy.
4. The Gods and the Ancient War:
• In the past, gods are believed to have lived on the moon, with Enel considering himself one of these gods, which explains his journey to the moon.
5. Joy Boy’s Unique Role and the Nika Fruit:
• Joy Boy, being a hybrid of Nika and a human, was the only one compatible with wielding the power of Nika’s devil fruit.
6. Imu’s Potential Power and the Nature of Devil Fruits:
• There’s a theory that Imu may have power over devil fruit users, potentially able to manipulate the spirit within the fruits to overcome the user, meaning This could also explain the role of the Five Elders in the story. Probably Imu is a demon or ate a demon fruit similar to god sun Nika. One Piece Red film gave us a good introduction about demons exist.
7. The One Piece and Its Significance:
• The One Piece might be the key to restoring the devil fruits to their original nature.
Brob surtur surtur no mi. The Ragnarok god
Y’all gotta give Morj some slack with the Wano video 😂😂😂. You guys are RELENTLESS lmao. It has yet to stop being funny lol.
Bro imagine this,
Usopp dreams of being a brave WARRIOR of the sea, and he is referred to as GOD Usopp. Imagine Loki dying during this arc and Usopp ending up eating the fruit accidently during the end of arc feast, becoming literally a brave god warrior, He could then lead the elbaf nation for the finale war
It could even grant him kings haki, kinda like how luffys COC seems to go ape shit in the sun god form, confirming usopps COC lie
He would be the trickster Loki kinda deal ya know, It's cool cause it was hajruidin who lifted Usopp and did the whole god Usopp thing
Everyone overlooks that there are 2 giant swords in the elbaph picture
Fenrir fruit. He's surrounded by wolves and fenrir starts ragnarok in the mythology
Now Usopp gaining this fruit as a character arc ending seems kinda logical making him a true brave warrior of the sea
We all act as if Oda can’t/wont just make up a whole new class of fruit. He’s done it once, he can do it again🫡
At this point what will be make we have seen many types of fruits elemental to animals even time travelling fruit
Loki: I am the Sun god
Usopp: I am the god of lies
Loki: WAIT !
Fenrir was the wolf that was chained and upon being free was the start of Ragnarok. Maybe that is Loki's fruit.
wowwww! most of Morj's theories nowadays are reaches. but this one is now. NICE!!
He retired with the gold to the Gnita Heath, turning into a dragon (a symbol of greed)."
PS: He is surrounded by wolves, sticks out his tongue like they and is chained like Fenrir, but like Fafner he killed his father and robbed him, so it could be either of the two 👍🏻
My theory:
Loki tried to destroy the world before but shanks was able to stop him. Shanks together with other giants helped to chain him thats why world government respected shanks so much for this.
When Shanks spoke with Gorosei, he was indeed referring to luffy. Maybe shanks shared that luffy might be the person who will potentially unchain loki.
loki d odinson? loki d magnusson? he needs that intial.
The Wano analysis video is the friends we made along the way
I like this theory, I'd be interested to see what types of powers an elbaph fruit would have
I mean there is another option that we heard about from Oars' story, an island island or earth earth fruit which allows island moving or building.
Listening to Morj discuss about Loki and the island of Elbalf… it makes me think of Usopp’s original goal “…to a brave Warriors of the Sea!”
When Loki is defeated/killed, the God Devil Fruit will be free to go to the owner of its choosing (GOD USOPP!!! 🤯😇🌅🙌🏻)
what about dorry/broggy mentioning the blood soaked serpent? how will that play into the ark? i recall hearing in some versions of mythology a serpent sucking on Yggdrasil roots.
15:30 Sanjuan Wolf has a devil fruit which allows him to become bigger.
It’s the red line.
iirc its "Elbaf's God" instead of "God Elbaf", with the early translations maybe being mistaken. I have to check the japanese version, but the official edition in my country says "God of Elbaf"
so actually since Little Garden they were already talking about Nika
Even in the official Viz translation, Dorry and Brogy still refer to "Elbaph" as being the name of a deity, Dorry even has a line in chapter 119 in the official Viz which goes as follows:
"This is the judgement of Elbaph, the God Of War!!"
Dorry also even has another line where he says:
"You humans have only lived for 10 or 20 years, you can't possibly comprehend the sacred words of Elbaph"
@@thatguynamedzeus5091 I got the japanese version now. Don't know how to upload it here lol
But it says:
エルバフ の神 (かみ)
erubafu no kami
The kanji means god/deity and かみ are the hiraganas for "ka" and "mi"
So it reads "Elbaf's God" or "God from Elbaf"
@@RhBaes Which line is that kanji from specifically, because they are instances where they say "God Of Elbaph", however there are instances where they just say "Elbaph" when refering to a specific entity.
Like when Dorry says "You humans have only lived for 10 or 20 years, you can't possibly comprehend the sacred words of Elbaph"
Here, Dorry is clearly using "Elbaph" as a name, he doesn't say "Erubafu No Kami" in this specfic line, just "Erubafu"
@@thatguynamedzeus5091 chap. 116 when Dorry is explaining their fight to Luffy
Or when Dorry says "A little one like you, who has only lived a mere 10 or 20 years, could not possibly comprehend the divine words of Elbaph"
Again Dorry here simply says "Erebafu" and refers to it as a person.
maybe lokis fruit was the friends we made along the way
Just imagine Usopp eating the Warrior DF to become a true warrior of the seas
I hope that does not happen
Yes, I want this to happen! I think it would be really funny. God Usopp is real!
@@glass12 it would be a crime
@@ReturnOfGodEnelTrue that will be lame af
That would just make his character false. His journey is to actually be a brave warrior, if he eats a DF to become it, then it's just empty. Imagine if Zoro ate the "Strongest swordsman" fruit it's basically that
You know how the shadow of Luffy dancing around the fire back at Skypiea was a hint at the sun god. the gigantic shadows we see chapter 221 pre-skypiea arc could be hints at a giant god fruit
It could be an ancient weapon 🔪
Heads up, the shaking of the island is a reference to Norse mythology. After Loki is captured by the Aesir for killing Baldur he is chained up and has venom dripped on his head for eternity. Lokis wife catches it in a bowl but when she has to empty it a couple drops land on his head, which is why earthquakes exist from his painful shudders.
When Loki is freed from that bondage he will start Ragnarok
Maybe Pluton is a dual-wielding giant mech 😂
I like the idea of Loki having fire and ice powers, I think that could fit well thematically
If its a zoan fruit as Morj guesses, maybe it can be a fruit Bleachbeard steals and showcases how much powerful he becomes in a duel to the death with Shanks
I have another idea
The legendary fruit of loki is: red serpent
As dory and brogy said, it's the only thing they can not defeat with their dual power
I guess loki can turn himself into enormous red serpent
