For example western cultures put emphasis on individuality and even create terms like souls for metaphysical grounding, and eastern cultures where promoted is realization of "no-self" or incarnation of the one in every being are rather concerned with collectives. What is your stance on this and how this relate to "self"-development?
Thank you for your question Peter, let me attempt a response. I believe that we are part of a bigger picture and the greater success of which depends on how we individually play our part. Microcosm in the macrocosm therefore we have to live well in the community but not at the expense of our purpose, whatever that is. Hence the desire to know thy self and work through challenges, issues and be able to pay it forward. Helpful I hope.
