I am a big compression bag guy! I have been using compression bags with travel trips and backcountry for years and I would highly recommend them. I have heard about these packing cubes and would try them for sure too I just love my compression bags

No. It weighs just a bit more.
I pack light using packing cubes.
It's very useful to keep organized!
There are compression bags that you don't need a vacume and can sqeeze the air out, specially for travel. Just a tip.
