I so wish Tosenbo maintained the popularity it had at release like Rolling Girl, Worlds End Dance Hall, Twofaced Lovers and Unknown Mother Goose did, would loved to have seen it live
I found this EP at a very bad time in my life. And I was really depressed. This EP really helped me feel so alive and made me feel sunshine. The instrumental, her voice was the best part of these songs. It had so much emotion and was relatable at the time. I was in pain and she sounded in pain. Rest In Peace Wowaka we miss you
I loved wowoka. And I still do, so... What'll I do about it? I'll build a VSQX of one of his songs other than Rolling Girl. I want to give a proper tribute to someone who made me feel like a human being during my teenage years. Rest in peace, my inspiration. You made Miku sing like an Angel and now you yourself are one. I will never forget my feelings listening to this music. Roll on, my friends... Just roll on. ✌
Line art and toosenbou sound like a compressed demo, i prefer the unhappy refrain versions but its still intereresting to hear. Tenohira sounds much more gentle and kind, not sure whether that's the artist intent. Overall Unhappy refrain better taps into the raw emotion expressed in the lyrics, however this EP is easier to listen casually as BGM.
@catgirl fiona belli anything beyond Unhappy Refrain are extremely rare. I think I got each of them around $40-50 each, before they really spiked. Couldn't tell you where I got them, but it was from individual sellers
