Congratulations 🎉 I think my tnt is the Naya tshirt by Tammy handmade. I’ve not made from any of the those pattern companies and would be super excited to try one out! ❤
I’m terrible for sewing for practical purposes 😂 I like the pretty fabric and patterns and flowy dresses but then don’t go anywhere to wear them😅 I have the blouse pattern too but haven’t tried it yet, I’m always put off when I have to trace things so delay using those patterns 😂 I’ve a few experimental space patterns, I did find the instructions a bit confusing but love the one I’ve made so far 😊
@@TheWillowtreeGreen I’ve spent so many hours making dresses that just sit in my wardrobe or signing up for every pattern test even though they haven’t been something I wear that I think I’ve learnt that as my wardrobe space and sewing time is limited I have to focus on what I need for everyday or a particular occasion. I actually enjoy the process more as I sew slower now too. I don’t enjoy the tracing either so try to do that as little as possible 😂
Hi Nicky, great vlog love the fabrics you got from the swap unfortunately I couldn’t get there but looks like it was a success. I found you after Helen mentioned you on her vlog and have subscribed, it’s nice to have another Devon Sewist to watch. Tina
@@tillyt1201 Hi Tina, thanks for watching me & subscribing 😊as you have probably noticed I’m quiet new to this! The destash party was great so hopefully there will be more. Lovely to hear from a Devon neighbour, what part are you in? I’m towards Torbay area now having moved from Plymouth a couple years ago, always lived in Devon though!
lovely fabric from the swaps table. I've just bought the Avid Seamstress The Blouse pattern after I saw it hacked into a shirt dress! Enjoy your makes ❤
@nicky-Sewandsnip I hadn't either, but I saw a picture of a lovely shirt dress on their website and emailed them to ask if it was The Blouse. They said yes, and they'd literally just lengthened it!
Looking forward to seeing your finished challenge. I know the pain with a frozen shoulder. I thought it would go away but 9 months I still had it and could hardly wash my hair and dress. My physio was good and said I’m not going to waste your time and money and no exercise was going to help and refer me to a consultant who manipulated my shoulder and I had a steroid injection under GA. I’ve got full movement back in my shoulder. I hope you get the correct help for your shoulder.
@@susanjenningsjones Thank you, they have warned me that the natural cycle of a frozen shoulder is about 18 months 🤦♀️ looking back I think that mine started about 6 months but has only really effected me the last couple of months. Doing my hair is the one big problem, looking unruly isn’t a good advert to my clients when I do their hair😂
Hi Nicky, Great spin in a few minutes here with you!❤

@@pinkpaulasews4929 Thanks. I cut out and made 2 Naya T’s yesterday, such a great quick pattern that uses so little fabric😀

Hi Nicky, I just found your channel and have really enjoyed hearing about your week. Take care, Ruth x
@@SeamStressedRuth Thank you Ruth, glad you enjoyed it😊 This week I’m trying to record a bit each day to put together to see how that works.
