Hi Kriztian! So the new tiles will give you more visual variety since one is with a forest theme and the other is lava themed but they don't add anything gameplay-wise. They use the same grid as the regular tiles and connect the same way. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Cheers!
I don't know if you will see this but I'm confused how expansions connect to the actual original game. Do you start with a new character and complete the expansion or can you take a used character and just do the expansion if you are at the bonfire or something?
Hi, so the mega boss expansions can be played right after you kill the main boss… so see them as an extended campaign. The expansions like Darkroot and Iron Keep replace the basic encounters and mini- main bosses you would fight on the base game. You can also mix and match with them, for example…using a mini boss and enemies from the base game and then using a main boss and encounter cards of the expansion. Cheers!
I don't have the new core set yet but for example, if I were to play the new Ariamis core set, can i add previous Phantom expansions in like add in Invaders? And is it also possible to add in mimic in the new core set?
Yes you can but Steamforged Games have not yet released uodated rules for how the new core sets work with old expansions. What you can do though is add the mimic after a fight if you draw the treasure card. Cheers!
I only got the game, because my local store got rid of all the character, iron keep, phantoms and armor boss that walks like a spider for ten € each. After that I bought the base game and the darkroot basin expansion. Of course I had to buy tha Gaping Dragon and Kalamut. :) Now I am hunting the rest of the bosses.

I really wanna play them, but they are really costly. Buying all these expansions is probably equivalent to buying 10 copies of the actual games on Steam for your friends. >.>
