If you were to stop at 6-5 you actually get bumped down to 4-1. If you clear 7-1, you start at 6-1 instead. Your floor level goes up to level 7 upon clearing 6-5, so to not drop two floors instead of one you now do need to clear something on floor 7, the floor equal to your level. If you hit the little i icon up at the top, it explains the mechanics and so far they've matched what I've observed. They mentioned that hitting floor level 10 can only drop you as low as 9 as well. No need to do 10-1 even there, so that's the main advantage over stopping at lower floor levels really at least unless/until you'd want to actually push higher. Personally, I think it really just depends on your tolerance for the time it takes you to do 9-1 through 9-5 as opposed to just doing YOLO at lower levels. It's only +20 gacha currency per additional floor level and while you do have to clear an extra floor each week that likely does still take you less time than the 9-1 through 9-5 run. The other currency does really start to spike, but that's mostly going to be important for level 50+ when the shop really opens up with more expensive to farm mats to justify the extra currency there. At that point, I do think almost everybody should consider clearing 10-5 at the very least.

A good new, You don't need to clear 9-5 to start at 9-1 next week. You always start at 9-1 no matter what. Yeah, I lost 190 gems to know that xD
