This game has a really cool core mechanic with private vs public funds, but something seemed WAY off in terms of scaling and demands. Like, just out of nowhere absolutely impossible tasks based on the pacing of development and the consumption goods make growing your town super stressful. I gave up despite really wanting to like it.
Comrade-Dictator Potato turned an empty plot of land into the greatest republic in the history of the world, based out of his capitol city of Potatograd. The happiness of the people getting 22-hours/day jobs, the children being schooled until 6 years of age, the constant flow of bread to the masses, and at least 35% of the time, getting heat in the winter. Thank you Comrade for your benevolent leadership. Please bring back the Workers & Resources series, Comrade. Thank you. 10-year subscriber.
Just looking at the top of the screen at the red negative numbers would have told you how that was going to go. Build a house, then a business, then a house, then a business. Seems pretty basic to me.
Looks great. Will check it out
Would love to see you have another crack at this!

Is attractivness even a thing in this game?
Can the combat be disabled? The game is interesting enough without it.
