Haewon and lily are literally vocal QUEENS, and also I’m very impressed by karina and Giselle for being this high considering they are only sub vocalist!
That’s SM for you, sub vocals can be leads in other groups, lead vocals can be mains, and mains are the best of their generation. 4th gen however, Karina and Giselle would easily be main vocalists in other groups. And I’d peg half of nmixx too. JYP finally having a vocal based group after so long makes me very excited for the future of 4th gen..

Eunchae actually so much higher than i expected like we live that, also all of nmixx and aespa in the higher ranks is so deserved like they are vocal queens.
they're under a different sub-label in jype called SQU4D. that's why they have better vocal instructors unlike itzy and twice. they've improved over the years but not at a steady pace either and some members still need a lot of practice with the right instructors. that's why nmixx is such an impressive jype group, they stand out in their own company edit:grammar

Jieun from Purple kiss actually is pretty solid and has good diaphragmatic engagment on Bb3-G#4 id rate her slightly higher in the weak tier, u should check her pre debut solo cover, she has more material there. Yunjin should be higher she is solid on G#3/A3 nd her head voice is also well developed until G#5

Genuine question: I thought Liz has G#3/A3~A4/Bb4? Her lower register seems to be her most developed register as she manages to not only keep her tonality but avoid sounding muffled until G3 and lower. And she has some good (albeit shallow) Bb4s that aren’t fully consistent, but consistent enough to be counted into her supported range. But either way, I can tell how much hard work u put into this video. Great job 👍🏽
By the time this was edited Liz was A3 - A4 since she hasn’t had enough material for G#3. And I think now it’s safe to give her G#3/A3 - A4. I haven’t seen much supported Bb4’s from her (I don’t pay attention to IVE much). I’ll try to see more of there live material ^^.

Thanks for the appreciation! Btw just because someone’s a opera singer doesn’t necessarily mean there THAT good. Take for example Haseul her overall support lacks outside of her head voice. Opera pretty much mainly focuses on the head voice and ditches the rest. That’s why you see singers such as Yunjin and haseul have a well developed head voice.

Honest question- why do people put Giselle as a high D+? Nayeon herself if a little weak mainly due to the restrictive nasal placement & her getting throaty past B4-C5. To add, Giselle's is only like decent and struggles with less in general compared to Nayeon. It might just be JYP forcing her to sing nasal tho.
Haewon support range is G3/A3_C5/C#5 _ D5/Eb5 Winter supports A3_B4 consistently she is better than goeun Ningning supports G3_ C5/C#5 _ Eb5/E5 she is the highest C+ and very close to be an AA
-Haewon mix is C#5/D5 she supported many D5’s and is consistent with Eb5’s to. -Winters B4’s she tends to get tight and slightly nasal so safe to say she has Bb4/B4 for her mix. It’s kind of debatable I guess to say she’s consistent with B4’s. -Winter and Gouen aren’t that far from each other both are High Averages. -Ningning is to light with her coordination and approach to be close to AA. Even around the C5/C#5 it’s light. People of similar level sound more bold and fuller. She’s a Mid A-AA.

Well I reviewed other creators vocal analysis and completions, she sounded pretty clean with her approach and mix. Support quality is pretty decent well despite being shallow.

Giselles sense of support is more developed, approach is more clean, and her registers are more developed then her. Maybe Miyeon is a bit more developed in the lower register due to the lack material of the lower range from Giselle.
Bae is shallow but there are some Bb4's from her. I don't think Jiwoo is shallow tho. Miyeon A4's are safe, Bb4's are quite inconsistent! Sullyoon is not shallow, her Bb4's are safe, and she has some B4's not consistent tho, Jinni in the other hand is tricky, when she wants she can be fuller, but i woulnd't give her Bb4's, she lacks materials. I think Jieun and Dosie might go up a few places. RBW vocals never miss. I hope wakeone does something with the F+ girls too, especially Dayeon and Youngeun. Also Yuna has infinite potential I just know her issues could be fixed with that Nmixx vocal trainer 😭

That's if squ4d wants to loan out it's trainer to team2 ( itzy management ) . Never forget management are always fighting for more resources from bosses even if they are in the same company , I would guess nothing short of an Email/message from JYP himself to squ4d to let go of their vocal trainer . Itzy is a dance heavy group anyway .
since kyujin, karina, and Giselle all have the same range and are all in the same tier (high D+) could they be considered interchangeable? or maybe not interchangeable since karina is slightly better than Giselle. so maybe it’s Giselle≤kyujin≤karina? I’m not sure

Thanks for the appreciation! Btw just because someone’s a opera singer doesn’t necessarily mean there THAT good. Take for example Haseul her overall support lacks outside of her head voice. Opera pretty much mainly focuses on the head voice and ditches the rest. That’s why you see singers such as Yunjin and haseul have a well developed head voice.
Actually it's not the same technique (i talk like a opera singer myself) it's quite difficult to be as good in pop and opera

@@dumbdumbo7984 well when IZONE was active Yena was the second best vocalist. Cause Chaewon didn’t have a good understanding of support back then. And I think Goeun just improved to an extent that was she was better then Yuri.

Eunchae sounds as relaxed as Tzuyu to me, pretty flat all over there is no diaphragmatic engagment

Lily has shown consistent support up to Eb5 with moments in E5 as well, she also has to potential to show resonance. She showed some shallow signs of resonance in C5 when she did a cover of “let it go” with Haewon in one of their vlives. She could work on her fullness but her width and consistency is enough to consider her B-/B.

Honest question- why do people put Giselle as a high D+? I’ve just genuinely never come across any videos where she shows strong vocals and im genuinely curious where I can hear her actually show off the supposed vocal skills she has. Like I just have a hard time believing she is better than Nayeon?? Can someone please guide me to an example where she actually sings well?
Nayeon herself if a little weak mainly due to the restrictive nasal placement & her getting throaty past B4-C5. To add, Giselle's is only like decent and struggles with less in general compared to Nayeon. It might just be JYP forcing her to sing nasal tho.

Winter supports A3_B4 consistently she is better than goeun
Ningning supports
G3_ C5/C#5 _ Eb5/E5 she is the highest C+ and very close to be an AA
-Haewon mix is C#5/D5 she supported many D5’s and is consistent with Eb5’s to.
-Winters B4’s she tends to get tight and slightly nasal so safe to say she has Bb4/B4 for her mix. It’s kind of debatable I guess to say she’s consistent with B4’s.
-Winter and Gouen aren’t that far from each other both are High Averages.
-Ningning is to light with her coordination and approach to be close to AA. Even around the C5/C#5 it’s light. People of similar level sound more bold and fuller. She’s a Mid A-AA.
Haewon’s mix c5/c#5? Lol, the girl will soon establish Eb5 if she keeps on supporting them this fully and consistently.

What live vocal clips did you watch to come to the conclusion for Giselle at number 13? Curious
Well I reviewed other creators vocal analysis and completions, she sounded pretty clean with her approach and mix. Support quality is pretty decent well despite being shallow.
i think liz has G#3/A3-A4/Bb4 (A4(Bb4) at a minimum) and thus should be a bit higher.
By the time this was edited she was A3 - A4 ^^. I will update this ranking later on in the future don’t worry :)

Sometimes main vocal translates to “does high notes the best” since kpop loves their high sounding songs and high notes, Yuqi has a deeper voice so even if she’s the best vocalist most kpop producers won’t know how to utilize her tone and voice
Sorry but I don't think Miyeon would be lesser lack of material than Giselle tbh. Not hating but the way of her singing seemed more relaxed and healthier.
Giselles sense of support is more developed, approach is more clean, and her registers are more developed then her. Maybe Miyeon is a bit more developed in the lower register due to the lack material of the lower range from Giselle.

NN for me is tricky too. When she goes higher she tends to get scared and switch to head mix, and she kind of lacks fuller notes. I wouldn't give her C#5's, her C5 is safe tho. Beautiful head voice.

Lily is super SUPER light/heady mixed belting past D5 but yeah getting ahold of her mid-range would be great for better highs
