Great subject-matter bud. Kudos. As mentioned earlier this mo., I've been on a Beatles binge this Fall which seems to happen every 12-18mos; snapping up a few CD & vinyl box sets, books like several of Bruce Spizer's & a few others, re-watching the hundreds of great YT vids over last 5-8 yrs including several of yours, online documentaries on same, re-watching our Blu-ray & DVDs, re-reading through books like Terry's great coffee book I got last year as well. Fun stuff.
Enjoyed this overview of physical Beatles media in 2024, Norman. I too am longing for the second Lewisohn Tune In book; the first was an absolute marvel and I’m fairly certain it was the abridged version I have on my Kindle, but still, a triumph. The McCartney legacy series sounds very interesting, as does the overview of Beatles solo work, thank you for the recommendations 🙏🏼
Thank you for this enlightening video! I will - like any other person interested in the Beatles - buy parts 2 and 3 of Mark Lewisohn's "All These Years", when (or if) they eventually arrive. But honestly; they will not be nearly as interesting as part 1. The most interesting thing about the period 1940 (and before) to 1962-12-31 was *the history* and not the music. The wealth of detail that Lewisohn managed to unearth about the background of the Beatles members had not existed before. In the period 1963-1970, *the music itself* is the interesting thing about the Beatles. But the music 63-70 we all have in all possible editions; the official, and various "rarities" and versions. The history 63-70 is so well published from day 1, that it becomes difficult to find any *new* interesting historical material. Which hotel rooms they were "locked up" in during tours, which clubs they frequented in London, which newspaper John liked to read on the sofa and which TV programs were then on in the background, etc, etc, is simply not very interesting (or already well known). The most interesting thing during 63-70, besides the music, is how they *made* the music, and that is already well documented in Lewisohn's "The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions" (including from which newspapers John got some of his lyrical ideas ;-). If parts 2 and 3 never get released, I won't be too sad. Instead, I will be eternally grateful that part 1 was. 🙏❤
Hey Mazzy, nice video One thing, the group picture for Ringo and Barbara's Wedding, was actually taken in 1979. John quiped: " I would have been there if I'd known. " Sad that the four of them didn't get together one last time.
Nice collection of Beatles in 2024 Mazzy looks like The Beatles were busy in 2024 and solo Beatles let's hope 2025 is very busy year also! Great show Mazzy lots of products to digest!
I’m a new Beatles fan, so much I don’t know, great to see what’s out there, I’ve been wanting that Paul McCartney photography book. Must be hard to keep up with all the releases
Welcome! Most folks aren't aware that Webster's Dictionary definition of, "Rabbit Hole" comes from, "The effort or involvement of seeking or searching for information, media, & music output on the music group, "The Beatles". ;)
It‘s a mess that there is no CD release for the Mind Games meditative mixes. A sad gap in my CD Collection 🥲But what a highly informative and joyfully listenable presentation by yours about all these Beatles releases fom 2024. Thanks a lot🙏🏻
Hi Mazzy.....thanks for the content on this video...love anything Beatles or solo. Much appreciated all your hard work and opinions throughout the year. Will check out Lucinda Williams. Thanks again ....
Hello from Germany, great Video. I think i have a new interesting Vinyl for you as a Beatles Collector. Ace Records released: Various Artists - Here, There & Everywhere: Black America Sings John Lennon, Paul McCartney & George Harrison. Two wonderful Records with Beatles Covers by Sarah Vaughn, Natalie Cole, Four Tops, Supremes, Billy Paul, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Esther Phillips and many more. Top sound Quality. Greetings from🇩🇪 and wonderful Christmas Days to you🎄
Apart from the 2024 released you show up I suggest you the two albums that Italian singer Mina did it about The Beatles: 1. Mina canta i Beatles 2. The Beatles songbook
I prefer the original version of Mind Games that includes all the parts that the “remix” removed. It did push me to find a vinyl version of the original mix though.
I love Lucinda Williams a lot. Got almost all of her albums, saw her live several times. To be honest, I think that her otherwise great voice does not fit the Beatles songs. But this is just my personal feeling.
Beatles merch - the gift that keeps on giving. I had an 8X10 of the band, but it slid down the wall behind a heavy cabinet. Thanks, Mazzy !
Hey Mazzy. Great video. The Paul & Terry’s books look amazing! Thanks for all the great Beatle info. Cheers

My pleasure!✌🏼
Yoko and her boy band partner were wonderfully entertaining and provocative. Music of the Mind is a portal to another time.
Paul McCartney's 1964 photo book is excellent. Not just as a document (which is great by itself) but he had a remarkable eye as well.
Yoko: Imagine. John: Imagine what? I think John needed Yoko. All in on The Beatles. Why not.

Well in 2025 you will have the 50th anniversary of McCartney’s Venus and Mars album and the 60th anniversary of Rubber Soul.
