26, getting out of the Navy soon after 8 yrs and I'm stuck thinking about the 'right' choices to make and how to navigate my life and career. Thanks for sharing your struggles. Sometimes all it takes is someone else's story to be able to inspire one another.
I've wanted to create content since I was five years old watching Zoom on PBS, long before TH-cam came out. Once it did I realized right away that this was my window to expression. I've been trying TH-cam since 2012, and had a good shot at it on several occasions. It was usually gaming related, but anytime I would start to get traction I would let this exact type of fear cause me to freeze and lose momentum. I have since matured and want to do more "real" content, and have good camera gear and set myself up for success. But I still get in my own way. I converted a van, decided it was dumb, sold it, bought another van, my father passed and had to sell it. Now I'm converting a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, and I'm not going to freeze this time. Thanks for sharing your struggle. I hope you persist. Cheers.
The self doubt is real when starting a TH-cam, im on the same page currently about to post my second video and its constant editing changes because of SELF DOUBT. Keep it up, you have great composition and story telling!
Awesome video! You have great style to tell and show story. I started dreaming about vanlife maybe somewhere around 2020. I talked about it to my friends and I didnt get kind of response that I was waiting. I felt alone with that dream. I tried to push it aside but dream just got stronger. Autumn 2022 I got change to move to the other side of the country for work and I realised its now or never. It took about two weeks from that moment and I had my own van. Been living in it since then and still love it every single day. Its lifestyle that dont fit to everyone but damn Im happy I found my own path.
Hey brother, thank you for sharing your story, loved the first one, and this as well. You are a talented creator, keep it up! This is so encouraging, I have had somewhat of a similar journey.. I got my van at 24, and spent 8 months in it broke down a lot; but now at 31, I’m in a place in myself where i’m ready. I think the fear of missing out on all the opportunities got me as well, and I had some internal things to work through, and having a steady place for a while helped me. On the other side of it, my van is now all dialed in mechanically, and i’m starting the internal build! It’s an ‘89 Econoline similar to yours, love the body style of the older years! Keep it up bro! Anyone else out there looking for encouragement, keep your head up, and sometimes you just need to allow yourself to go through the harder things, but circumstances, are not a definition of who you are as a person. Blessings!
You are an incredible story teller man. I am in a similar position of not knowing what to do with my life, the "Analysis Paralysis" you talked about. Happy the algorithm brought me here.
Simply Captivating. This is the video I needed to come across, the push I needed. Cannot wait to follow along your journey and excited to see what’s next!
This is exactly how I see my life when I look with the idea of what my life would be like if I were allowed to live a vanlife life.. it's super awesome to acknowledge the idea that I'm now moving from a boat life to a van life life,, busy embracing the right bus, camper, vanlife! your videos show me what I will soon encounter. I'm still completely new to van life! but I am convinced that life on a boat is different from life on 4 wheels, but still close together!. I am also sure that the country you are in will never allow me to discover that. I am now a videographer with a criminal record, but soon I will start a new video channel, and I would like to see that we can share contacts and experience with each other.
well done on this video. I think you'll find nearl all budding adventurers go through the same thoughts and though i started my Journey in 1983 i find even now that each new chapter has the same thoughts. The fear of casting off the dock lines, turnig the key or the first foot off the ground and even though I know what I plan will nodoubt work out it's still the first step thats the hardest but to be sure the worst feeling is that I don't atleast try. As Bilbo once said "It's a dangerous think stepping out your front door, you never know where your feet will take you".
Always in demo mode!! That feeling of being stuck is real, this is hugely inspiring to break out of that way of thinking and start moving forward! But seriously dude where’s your van?!?
Copy paste. Got my van in 2021, proceeded to the purge and now living the life I always dreamed of. Would be nice to cross your path on the road. I'm pretty sure both of us would benefit from each other experience! Keep publishing man! You'll hit 100k subs before 6 month if you keep publishing regularly!
oh man i want to live this life so bad, I want to journey through the world and I wanna film it, Im going to try and purchace a van next year, but we'll see how that turns out
Bro I got the van already made it into camping van. I work full time and don’t have time to go out on a camping trip and also don’t know how to do make videos..

Incredibly relatable. Analysis paralysis is real. On other note, the hype we got when you picked up a Ford key was off the charts 😵
The old ford never let me down, so I’m sticking to them haha. Glad you liked it! :)
