Interviews with Andrea Dworkin: Feminist Icon
Dworkin challenges us to rethink our most deeply imbedded ideas about the hierarchies of domination and submission that infuse our sexual, social and economic relationships.
Her courageous commitment to elevating the voices of people, especially women, who are suffering, was born out of a deep compassion and a belief that another kind of world is possible...a world that disavows cruelty and embraces a truly egalitarian society.
I and thousands of women are so grateful to her for her work
Andrea Dworkin was a writer of brilliance
"and soon in a few years, 60 years" made me really sad. RIP Andrea
What an amazing woman and one of the most talented feminist writers imo. Such a shame there are so few videos of her. I wish she was still alive and could bring her brilliant voice to the current depressing feminist discourse. Instead we have Camille Paglia trending on X rn and I have come across some vile things she wrote about Andrea Dworkin.
Hahahahahahaha amazing woman hahahahaha what a vile parasite of society .
Amazing to hear her in her own voice..Thank you!!
a fiery writer but such a gentle, considerate speaker. never would've expected it. may she rest in peace.
Since this is labeled part one I hope more of this interview will be released some day soon
Roberta, thank you. So great to hear directly from this uncompromising woman fighting for different kind of world, one fit for human beings.
Andrea spoke at an Int'l Women's Day celebration that Revolution Books hosted many years ago. I remember her coming in the overalls, first to the march, then to the gathering at some school uptown. I remember her speaking about the damage porn does...
PS- You can find t-shirts and stickers at RB that say:
'If you can't imagine sex without porn... you're fucked.'
Brilliant!! Thank you Roberta!!
It is so amazing that you uploaded this.
She is awesome
She is deeply missed... even by those of us who learned about her work long after her passing.
Andrea - great woman! The voice of true femininity!
Hahaha she was a vile parasite
I love her so much
Thank you so much for this 💗
Love her
Part II please!
She brings so much hope!! She never gave up.
Dworkin rocks, straight up. And I barely agree with most of what she says.
She's vile , no wonder modern feminists love her .
