Both dioramas really turned out great. I really like how you redid the background to get the most out of it. My display is about 1/2 the size and I had to make some hard choices. I have it up if yours too to see. But I think I am going to make some changes. Keep up the great work.
Wow Amazing set up. The splicing is very well done! You've really maximized that shelf space. Thanks for sharing it with us. I also always liked tessk, and that species in general. They remind me of Mindflayers from D&D.
Nice review Victoria!! This is a wonderful diorama!!! Gamorrean guard is the best!! very difficult to find and expensive here in México City. Greetings!!
Oh my, you think the re-painted/tooled ultra Jabba (Jabba glob) looks better. Hm, I've just never heard that before. I was actually pretty bummed with the new Jabba coming with the sail barge..which I'm not getting. Then when I saw that same Jabba (I believe) at a store with the Rancor..it definitely doesn't look as good as the Walmart exclusive. So I'm pretty sure the Toys 'R' Us exclusive Jabba will be the same with their barge. Anyways, I do like that we got a tongue with that one; something I'll occasionally use with this figure.
Good god, you did an amazing job futzing that tail! Every person I've seen that has curled it, it just looks awful. One of these days I'm going to stuff that guy with some polyester fluff or something. It really needs to be filled out a bit since it's a little to squat.
Your Palace set up is incredibly similar to how I have mine, except I refuse to include anything from the Special Editions in my displays ;-P Does your WM exclusive Jabba have a sorta slimy, oily feel to it? I got the Throne set when it was new, and I briefly displayed it, then stuck it back into the packaging, and when I pulled it back out last year I discovered it has a very gross, oily feeling now and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Good thing I got the SDCC Rancor Pit that has a much better looking Jabba figure.
The same thing happened to my Throne Room Jabba. I actually haven't used it in years. I replaced it with the Black Series 3.75" Jabba that was part of the Toys 'R' Us multipack with the Rancor in 2015. It's a much better looking Jabba as you note. Eventually, this diorama will be gone as I got in on the Sail Barge.
Cool, that is the same Jabba I'm currently using in my displays, and I'm glad that we'll be getting another version of it included in the Sale Barge next year. I wonder if there is anyway to stop the oilyness from continuing to happen on that WM Jabba and if all examples the figure are in that state? Whatever chemical composition Hasbro used must be rapidly decaying to make it like that, right? I've been keeping it in a large, acid-free bag since I discovered the mess it is becoming because I don't want it messing up anything else in my collection. What did you do with yours?
Yeah, honestly I don't know what's causing it or how widespread it is. I actually ended up selling mine after I got the Black Series Jabba. Can't wait for the Barge!
Im thinking of doing this also..i want to do all 3 scenes including the rancor..who has a list of all the figures and thier lines to complete all 3 scenes?
Just going by memory without looking it up; I'm pretty sure the furry character with breasts is a female. At least that's what I recall reading after the figure came out.
This is all kinds of good---thanks for sharing

The way you pronounce diorama, it always reminds me of the group Bananarama. It could be a drinking game lol.

I think that the Black Series Jabba from the Toys R Us exclusive/Sail Barge is my favorite Jabba.
Yes, most definitely. The Sail Barge version will have the photo real paint if the Sail Barge is a success.

Another great and awesome review and collection, Does your husband have a TH-cam channel?
***** Thank you, Zach. No, he doesn't collect anything or have any interest in making videos.
Oh okay he should appear in one of your videos haha.
Im thinking of doing this also..i want to do all 3 scenes including the rancor..who has a list of all the figures and thier lines to complete all 3 scenes?
I'd just look at the photo archives of the various websites like Rebelscum and Jedi Temple Archives where you can find lists.
Just to let you know.... You should attach the frog dog thing (forgot denizen name) to ree yees because he's jabbas pet keeper not yak face
