Whenever Justified comes up in conversation, everyone I know brings up Dewey Crowe. I think it speaks not only to the character, but the actor who brought him to life. I hope his star continues to rise.
I admire the art collector in Episode 6. I loved how he went under the radar through the whole episode, then we saw him at the end showing off his collection of ashes to Raylan. Fuckin legend. I aspire to that level of greatness.
I posted my comment before I read yours. Yours is much better. Yeah, I absolutely loved that aspect of the episode. These writers were awesome, but so was the acting, for an FX series.
One of the best series I've ever seen. Every show every season. From Fire in the hole to The Promise. Elmore Leonard is a great story teller. It's a shame City Primeval was trash.
It was the writing, City Primeval just didn't have the quality. Reminded me of mediocre fanfic, they get the general gist of the characters, but the excellence of the of original was completely missing.
@@dominictemplei watched one scene on youtube and the dialogue didn’t flow, it was disjointed and didn’t have rhythm. I never bothered with another scene. The dialogue in the original is like music, it has a beat and rhythm and almost hypnotizes you. The writers for the new series don’t have the skill of the old.
I never understood that from Winona. Raylan never seemed 'angry' to me, just a short tempered guy who didn't suffer fools or take any shit. I mean he didn't run around being an asshole for no reason yelling at people or inciting situations, he just ended things quickly and violently and without remorse. I'd say he was cold, not angry. But I wasn't married to him
I will be starting on season two really soon. I'm a moderator on the Justified subreddit and I regularly post clips on there but I needed to take a break after finishing this montage. Thanks for the support!
This was one of the best TV series ever written. The acting and scripts each week were superb. Heroes and criminals all have their moments in the sun!! 7:17
TH-cam algorithm brought me here. Never heard of this show. Liked these montages. Doubt I will watch whole episodes. This was very interesting. Thank you.
Please watch the series. You will not be disappointed. Then watch Deadwood. That is an amazing series as well. Can you tell I'm a Timothy Olyphant fanboy. LOL Not really, just like the roles he plays... Always a Lawman. But seriously you won't be disappointed.
You are doing yourself a great disservice if you don't at least watch the first few episodes. I'm not into the Lawman genre but I watched the first couple of episodes and was hooked. In my estimation it's the best written and best acted series on television, EVER.
@@Hopster1 Agree, 99%. My only argument is that I would likely put Deadwood, in the number one, best written shows. Timothy Olyphant tells a story about finally feeling confident enough to purchase a house after the second season of Deadwood and the great response from fans and critics. So he figured the show was gonna go for a long time. Bought the house, returned for season 3 and was told this would be the last season... Sigh! The movie is good as well and can even be watched as a stand alone, but if you enjoyed the series it is much better. It is sad that it only went 3 seasons. All because of office politics too, had nothing to do with anything other than differences between creators and producers. Grrr.
@@larrystevens7410 I will try to. But being 65, means priorities are a little bit different in this day and age. The one thing that strikes me with this genre of shows. Is that no one has tried to copycat this form of Justice. Or if someone/group is doing that type of Justifiable Justice is being hidden from the public. Back in the old west people did do this type of Justice. Life has a habit of imitating art at times. I will give this show a watch. Mainly due to Timothy Oliphant. Thanks again and stay safe during these crazy times ahead.
"Any woman...who was merciful enough to allow you into her bed..." Laughed so hard when I first saw that episode I had to rewind. I couldn't hear the rest of it😂.
What a series I wish they would come back with a few more episodes love the way Boyd broke out of jail. Now all we need is Raylen to go after him. Timothy and Walter are fantastic actors. I keep watching the trailers.
I like that dentist when he repossessed his work that was unpaid for by a rich scumbag. My dad and stepmom had to deal with that kind of crap when the Utica police chief reneged payments for a bunch of furniture that my parents business reupholstered for the fuckhead. Had to take the asshole to claims court for the money owed, and intern the police chief assigned two of his cop thugs to harass my younger brother and I. Had to take the police chief to court to get a restraining order for them to leave my brother and I alone as a police chief was trying to enact retribution against my parents. This was back in 1977 when I learned how evil cop can be to citizens.
I got the entire series for Christmas. I bet most men try to figure out which of Raylan's female encounters they would prefer. Winona all day every day. Natalie Zea has an allure about her that to me few women have. Good actress as well.
That scene about Hitler fucks me up. My father left when i was 1. I hated my father. But i miss him and often wonder if i would have followed in his foot steps. Or made him proud.
Re: s1e8: When the news runs that night, that chicken restaurant is gonna make bank when they can advertise that their chicken ended an armed stand-off.

Would be my top pick for favorite TV show ever, if Deadwood didn't exist. LOL
I love the way the Hitler painting purchaser, who seemed all creepy at first, was a noble guy in the end.
Oh God yes, whole episode I thought he was going to be some creepy Hitler loving collector, but that reveal, worth it
That was quite possibly my favorite scene in the entire series.

i think primeval was so much trash was the villain was terrible, should had detroit mafia getting even with Raylon
