Coding for a body down rule is possibly one of the best ideas I've ever heard for survival games like this. The amount of times I've died to kosing is uncountable, more games desperately need this
I love the depth that they're expanding upon. The idea of a game where the creature you play as EVOLVES with the way you play it! Amazing.🎉 EDIT: I also absolutely love the creator's passion for sci-fi creature design. I've always loved more logic based creatures that fit into a world that has gone through development. It makes the animals in the game seem more real and interesting. He really seems to understand the creatures he's created and ways to make them even better as you play. Love seeing this and I can't wait to play!

I've been wanting a game like that, where your creature changes based on gameplay, similarly to Spore's diet system where it's based on what you eat as a cell- except like that throughout the whole playthrough, not just the start, or at least until you reach adulthood.
I love this, I wish I could code and stuff to bring my own creations to life... It must be so satisfying to take concepts from your head as an artist and make them move and function as a real living creature, cant wait to see what comes of this.
I like that most of the creatures have a similar build to the Lazard, and I really think this game has some potential. I hope it succeeds, I’m really looking forward to the new creatures.
They sound like they've played lots of Path of Titans on "Forbidden Isles" or some of the other hyper-realistic servers or the Isle servers with how they're saying some things. If that makes sense? And when they were explaining the "plans" for the game, sounds rough draft right now but it sounds like what DoD and PoT and The Isle have in similar but they seem like they want to expand upon that. I'm down to watch this progress and I hope they don't get harassed like other small creature games or like how DoD has a heavily drastic/dramatic following.
@CallmePancakegaming it definitely sounds like it, I'm excited to see this kind of game(s) flourish but scared of certain people ruining the community. It seems to happen too often to the wrong people/wrong indie game devs
i hope this game does bring more unique things than other survival games because its also having speculative creatures so there are all kinds of things you can make up even to how the animal grows and lives through the growing phage
@@CallmePancakegaming yea i was thinking literally stuff like larvae and pupa stage where you have completely different lifestyles from adults and since these creatures are made up the creature doesnt even have to be insect based or its forms in appearance and yet still have the same concept

The big problem with these games is that they are low quality and are extremely bare bones Not many survival games being made with completely unique creatures so hope they don't fall into that trap
well they are completely customizable, this is all extremely early access, basically drawings of models for the game, and even at that they contest with many games that are out there even at this early stage.

Honestly the skin customization method is amazing. Never seen a method to change pattern/markings with sliders.
