As someone who read a lot of queer books it had great trans rep for me and I would reread it again in a heartbeat but I wouldn't call it juvenile, it's YA so idk what to tell you but it fits the intended audience really well and it's really quotable, I really enjoyed it when I first read it when it came out but taste differs 🤷🏻♀️
@@ErinMegan Yeah maybe but after four years I wouldn't really expect a sequel with the same characters even though I wouldn't mind but either way one can read it as a stand alone and that's the more important thing for me 😂

He’s good at messed up! My problem with him is that his stories go into the over the top realm. They become too unbelievable and I’m not a fan of that in my horror typically. 😭
I ended up DNFing Lakesedge if that helps at all. It read very YA to me, with a generic setup. I loved the writing in Beneath a pale sky! The Doctor's demons wasn't edited AT ALL! don't feel bad letting that one go. It's crazy that we can unhaul 60 books and it just makes a little dent as far as more room on the shelves 😂
