    Sometimes there are decisions I can't comprehend a sane person could make. Profs explanation for the panel award selection is beyond stupid.
    Not nominating Richard Lewis or Thorin for content creators due to the metric used (views) would be like the Oscars skipping over Martin Scorcese films because of some marvel trash that made 10 times the money. Who even comes up with this shit at hltv?
    This is not meant as a hate comment for real, I m a regular. But there are decisions be it in rankings or just generally at hltv where I can't rap my mind around.

    Asstralis, by putting out a statement that basically addresses no specific question but deflects attention from what actually happened, aims to solidify its Danish fan base. That is the strategy they decided to go with, and we will see if it is going to work. But, one thing that's for sure gonna happen is that this team will be booed everywhere they go for a tournament that’s hosted outside Denmark and people in the cs community will always cheer for their opponent. Let them rot in their basement in Denmark.

    SPUNJ you're simply naive if you think the entire stabbi situation is solely about two players wanting to move to Astralis and they went about it straight up. Astralis most like advised them to create drama to destabilize Heroic in an attempt to save Astralis money which could then be given to the duo. If the only thing that happened was that they wanted to move on, they would have been straight up bought out with ZERO drama surrounding it.

      If they had got slandered they would have responded right away to save their reputation. They could have even put legal effort to addressing this issue. But none of these happened. Their inaction for almost two months speaks volumes to the truth contained in Heroic’s statement.

  • @djshadyside6585

    Ok so everyone takes Heroic’s statement at face value and when these kids respond it’s an “L statement”. Who cares when they responded. And how does that statement make them look bad. They reached a consensus with the org and other players that Cadian should go and when the org goes behind their back to test sticking with Cadian they peace out. Seems logical. There’s no way an org would side with 2 top 30 riflers over a top 5, maybe even top 3 IGL in his prime if it was just them vs him. Solid riflers are way easier to find than a top tier IGL, especially one that your entire system was built around.

    • @jeremiahwang9337
      @jeremiahwang9337 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Dodging questions that you are supposed to address with all the accusations Heroic threw at you is a bad move, regardless of what actually happened. If Heroic was viciously slandering your team members, you could sue them. Plus, Richard Lewis, who is never known as a fan of Heroic, has covered this story and it seems like Astralis was involved in some shady scheme against Heroic. So you deserve to bear all the PR consequences bc of either your lack of competence in handling the PR crisis or your actual involvement in maliciously destabilizing another team. Also, it actually made sense for Heroic to let go cadiaN bc everyone would expect things to drastically change in CS2. They’d rather choose two young players over an old igl when it comes to making a bet for the future. Your whole argument doesn’t hold.

    • @djshadyside6585
      @djshadyside6585 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jeremiahwang9337 at which point in my argument did I mention astralis? I don’t have any insight into astralis’ actions in the whole deal nor do I care. My problem is with everyone piling on these kids like they had some secret master plan to screw over heroic. Why? What’s their motivation? Why would they suddenly screw over this org that supposedly treated them so well? Or maybe, just maybe, heroics quickness to publicly air out dirty laundry and blast their players says more about the org than the players they’re talking about. Lack of professionalism from heroic was astounding. I’ve never seen an org do that, in any sport that I can remember. While I’m all for accountability that stuff is usually handled privately.

      how do they "test" with cadian behind their backs when they were already gone and cadian already was out ontop of it, seems more like one last round rather than a test but word things however you want

    • @djshadyside6585
      @djshadyside6585 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@poorman9259 what do you mean how do they “test”, they go to Cadian and see if he’s interested in building a new team around himself cause they got cold feet about the whole thing since decent IGL’s are very hard to find. If I remember correctly even Cadian himself said something like that.

      people just like drama and needs someone to be the "bad guy" so they can have an excuse to be toxic towards someone. its kinda pathetic what jabbi and stavn have to go through with these toxic comments, and 9/10 of people saying shit would do the exact same thing that they did.
