It’s average as it’s very similar to how great it is in the wild, it’s just that the vast majority of keepers don’t keep them this well and this how it should be for all. I do congratulate on the Great vivarium 👍
That looks great looking forward to seeing it grow in. How long did you geek out in editing with the slow motion footage of the rain system at work. If video editing is anything like old school film editing I'm guessing it took almost as much time as the hard scape
Just stumbled onto your site, looks amazing and natural. I dont know anything about paludariums, so here's the dumb question of the day, what's keeping those toads corralled?
Hey Troy! An update on This would be gorgeous. I wonder what you think about the rainsystem now after a while. I will soon do this by my own and would love to hear some pros and cons from you after dealing with it a bit. Also looking forward to some plant updates. Are they still doing good? Cheers
Those toads must feel like their back in their natural habitat. Incredible build. Loving the night time lights for it too. Beautiful blue lights for the Night time in the jungle.
Such an incredible tank! Really enjoyed watching its build from start to finish! If I could suggest, creating a playlist would help us folks who are new to the channel watch these multi-part builds a bit more easily :)
I'm low-key freaking out that this is for an Atelopus species, they are my favourite genus of frogs, honestly my obsession with them is the reason I did a whole herpetology degree. This set up is amazing, I would love to keep some of these guys some day.
an absolute inspirational tank. LOVE palladariums. my 55 gallon is similar, not as grown in, but definitely a massive step up from mine. I have a video in it if you'd like to see but this is just a whole different ball park
Absolutely amazing tank! I love how the water splashes on the giant philodendron leaves! I've never seen atelopus species here but now that I know about them I'll keep an eye out 👀 Are they diurnal?
Wow I did not realize how large those philodendron/monstera leaves were until you panned out. That's wild. Super cool paludarium. Makes me want to combine my aquascape passion w that. But I always end up overwatering my plants for some reason tho lol
I’m in there planning phase for a 300-gallon setup (5x4x2) after running out of room in my current 60 gal. I’m curious about your lights. They are the RV 60-degree, 6W versions? The lights I am testing are 40W jungle dawn spots and my plan was to use 5 (as rec by manufacturer). That would mean 200W of very high efficiency LED versus your 48W. Are you seeing good plant growth? I am adding about 200 orchids in this new setup and many are ok with 400-600 umole ppfd. Do you have par measurements at the ground level?
I’m building my first custom background. I have guzmania & vriesea. I was planning on planting them in orchid pots that I space into the foam. Is there a better way? I want them to do really well.
Really love the setup mate! I do have a question for you regarding the sump setup and how it's connected to the tank, I couldn't see an overflow setup at all in your video. I'm setting up a paludarium myself trying to get my plumbing organised. Any tips regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, how did you plant the plants into the filter foam at the bottom? I want to build something like this but I dont understand how you planted the plants into the background and the ground area. Thanks.
So why do people start crying in dart frog forums if you have a Paludarium for the frogs. They say that they will drown, or they will die because of the water seeping into the substrate.
Love these long videos. Whats the highed of this tank? Am busy myself with a 6 feet terrarium and just cannot decided on lights. Thoughts on the lights? And how many it need Not sure if you response hope you do of course
Anyone know where I can find the fake versions of these types of plants? I want to build a naturalistic enclosure but don't want it to be a bio active.
WOW..... Thank you for sharing you creation with the world. You did a fantastic work of art and great job on the time it took and creation of the video, shows you care and have a passion.
Bro, siiiiiick build! And great video. I haven't seen previous vids on this so now I'll go back and watch more. Great job and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Your bigger vivariums are the reason I decided to try a planted vivarium for the first time. Never would have tried out anything beyond dirt and clean up crew without seeing your videos. This is gorgeous. I'm going to rebuild my 375 to something maybe a little bigger and now I really want to copy your rain feature, or at least finally try out a misting system 😅. Good luck with the toads! They're one of the most beautiful animals on earth imo.
awesome toads, never seen them before. love how carefully curious they walk around^^ you consider life stocking up on the aqua part aswell or rather nah?
I’m deadddd. That’s it. Sorry kids, y’all aren’t going to college. I’m building another pauladarium. 😂 Love the inhabitants you chose! I’ve never seen them before 😍
Dear Troy, this was a stunning end of series! I couldn't wait for the final result. Hope your beast does great and I am looking forward for the next update once it grows. Thank you for your work! Longtime fan
Beautiful tank :) What kind of lighting would you recommend for a tank 80x60 x h 150 with a water part about 20 cm from the bottom. Tropical plants, neoregalias, ferns, alocasia, wildflower and orchids?
I have poison dart frogs. I am planning on making a 75 gal. tank for them with a water feature similar to yours only about 4 inches deep. I have been told that I can't do it because the frogs will drown. Is this true? I will include a way for them to climb out of the water.
Not the rain system…. I made the rain system from scratch, I show how I made a it a few videos back. I do have mistking running on the tank as well tho
These anthurium and philodendron leaves will be facing the top in no time. making it look slightly unsightly. suggest to place the light at the front and angle it towards the plants.
Yeah I’m just gonna see how it goes. I know many of these plants will outgrow the tank in time and I’ll more than likely need to relocate certain plants, but that’s the fun part.
Most people don't understand it's hundreds and hundreds of dollars and so many days and hours spent creating these and that's just for the small/medium ones...
Is this a custom made tank or is it store bought? I'm planning on making a paludarium and I'm really undecided on what I want to use as a tank. All I know is I want to go big!
This is the equivalent of living in the most expensive, fanciest penthouse apartment in NYC for those toads... 🤤😍
Hahahaah facts
Not really, You forget the world of those Toads is now very small. And he now determines what and at what time they eat just like the light
You’re cool… these frogs are captive bred bud. Have a good day
It’s average as it’s very similar to how great it is in the wild, it’s just that the vast majority of keepers don’t keep them this well and this how it should be for all. I do congratulate on the Great vivarium 👍
Nice rain
This is one of the coolest enclosures I have seen in a private collection. Very nicely done!
Thank you!
This is absolutely stunning!
Thanks so much!
@@TroyGoldberg 💚
Looks amazing
Thank you!
Amazing work!
Thank you!!
Mega nice 🙌
I'm new to this channel, so I apologise if this has been addressed, but how did you create the storm effects? Thank you
Watch a couple videos back
Thanks. I'm going through them all now. Great work and thanks for the inspiration.
Absolutely, glad you’re going on a deep dive!
That looks great looking forward to seeing it grow in.
How long did you geek out in editing with the slow motion footage of the rain system at work. If video editing is anything like old school film editing I'm guessing it took almost as much time as the hard scape
Hahahah more than I’d like to admit
For someone who doesn't aquascape, you did an excellent job. You have a talent for making things look naturalistic. Excellent build
Thank you!!
Very impressive wow
Thanks!

Glass doors go on the front lol
what a work of art!
Thanks Adam!

Would love to have a setup like this for a green tree python
No you would not. After one day the python would have destroyd 2000$ worth of plants.
Hahahhahhaa
Such an incredible tank! Really enjoyed watching its build from start to finish! If I could suggest, creating a playlist would help us folks who are new to the channel watch these multi-part builds a bit more easily :)
I would kill this viv because I’d just be obsessed with having the rain mode on constantly 🙈 It’s too pretty the way it drops into the water
Thank you!!

Thanks man, they’re such cool animals! I wish we could keep zetiki……. Ughhhhhhhh
@@TroyGoldberg I just looked it up, and I know why you want them so much
some floating plants will be pretty cool
an absolute inspirational tank. LOVE palladariums. my 55 gallon is similar, not as grown in, but definitely a massive step up from mine. I have a video in it if you'd like to see but this is just a whole different ball park
Love your work.
I could watch a full screen (with zoom in facility) live stream of it all day 🖖
I've always wanted something similar of my own. It's a true work of art! Thank you for the inspiration!
Looks dope
Thanks man!!
These plants are not easy to come by, well done! The whole thing looks amazing
Wow!
Absolutely amazing tank! I love how the water splashes on the giant philodendron leaves! I've never seen atelopus species here but now that I know about them I'll keep an eye out 👀 Are they diurnal?
Yes they are
I can’t wait to watch after work!
wow, your best video yet and my favourite ever vivarium, I love the way you fit the video to the music at the end
Thank you
absolutely stunning

I love how confident you are when you say you have no idea what you're doing! You could have fooled me! Amazing looking setup!

Frogs that live near streams are not always adept swimmers. Deep water with steep shores seems risky to me, but I have no idea how well atelopus swim?
I'm guessing the one thumb down is from that fly that got eaten. awesome video!
My guess is it’s someone who just simply doesn’t like me.
Troy can you please describe what substrate did you use for the Anthuriums?
It’s looking so cool ❤❤❤
How you plant trees on the wall?
Thank you!
Just love the look of this just amazing work 👍
I’m building my first custom background. I have guzmania & vriesea. I was planning on planting them in orchid pots that I space into the foam. Is there a better way? I want them to do really well.

Just wow! Planning a similar project, but smaller. Could a learn a lot.

stunning Masterpiece
Thank you!
I know I am year late but, man! Nice paludarium and very excellent edit on the vid. :) power!

How do you feed frogs in this big enclosure? Arent the fruit fly escape or wander around without being eaten?
Kalau kaca depan lebih rendah, apa hewan2 yang didalamnya tidak meloncat keluar?
looks awsome, whats your intro music called?
Nice Video. One of the best till now.. nice combinations music and so on.. keep it up..
How do you prevent the toads from escaping?
They look like how Pixar would animate a frog, it looks like it has arms rather than legs.
Hello, cool terrarium! could you provide a link to the lights?
The Anthurium warocueanum is beautiful!
🤘🤘🤘
Holy SHIT. Incredible work.
please . please help me share the music link at minute 12 . thank you
Neon tetras would look cool in the water portion
Damn I'm so late to this, time to sit down and relax
Hi, what's the brand of painted paint
ok i just never could find them

Like a slice of cake you sliced from the rainforest Truly something amazing. Question will you add fish to this set up and what specie????????
Yep… you’ll see
Beautiful tank :)

Skylight vivarium lighting i think is the nicest lighting available for a stand alone tank
whoa! simply amazing dude! i knew this build was going to be sick
Thank you!!
Looks Great man!
Your narrator voice could rival Morgan Freeman’s. Soothing af
😂
Do you just pin the plants to the background with sphagnum around the roots? Amazing job man!
Yep!!
Where did you get your toads from? Looks amazing btw!!! Congrat to all of your hard work paying off :)

Typically dart frogs dont do great in Vivariums with water features.
Did froskr shut down? I haven’t been able to reach their website lately. It never loads or has the 404 error. 😢
Looks like it.
awesome 🥰🥰🥰
Hello Troy, Awesome job to your Paludarium. Have some details question to ask you do you have an Email address I can reach out to you with?
Incredible!!!
Absolutely, amazing! Your talent is immense
Aww thanks!
awesome bro
Why is nobody talking about the editing ?! This is truly handsome o-0
Thanks, I’m getting better at editing, but I still have a loooong way to way
I love the heavy rain drops (around 13:19), is that the MistKing system running?
Not the rain system…. I made the rain system from scratch, I show how I made a it a few videos back. I do have mistking running on the tank as well tho
Absolutely breath taking. Were you able to get rid of the cyanobacteria under the water?
Pretty much yeah
This is awesome! I was just talking about these kinds of setups and how cool they are on my channel with another youtuber!
These anthurium and philodendron leaves will be facing the top in no time. making it look slightly unsightly. suggest to place the light at the front and angle it towards the plants.

Is this a custom made tank or is it store bought? I'm planning on making a paludarium and I'm really undecided on what I want to use as a tank. All I know is I want to go big!
Custom I show a video me building the enclosure itself about a year ago
how much you charge might need one in the future🤣🤷🏻♂️
It would he ALOT
how do you plant those philos and anthuriums do the rooted on the water or glued to the background.
Initial planting I made a sphag ball around the roots and pinned it the the background with toothpicks
Yeah dog!
Hi, where did you get your Atelopus Balios from?
