Looks like I got a extra reaction this month. Hell yea. Thank you for your reaction Brother. It means something to me because he is basically saying my life is terrible due to all the bad things going on but in spite of that, I am not gonna let it destroy me. I'm gonna keep fighting. You know some of the bad things that has happened to me over the years. Losing my whole family. Losing my life and having to get brought back. I was in a coma for months a different time. Bottom line is tones of bad stuff has happened to me but I'm not gonna let it beat me.
Yes, I can see that. It means something a little different to me, due to my life experiences and where I am in my journey towards whatever lies beyond. To me, it means that we can look at all the bad things that have happened, or are happening in our life and let that drag us down. Or, we can thank goodness for what we have in life, and where we are. Be positive, look forward no matter where we are in our journey. It isn't over yet and we still have time to enjoy. Maybe the same thing, just worded a bit differently?
Either it speaks to you or it doesn't. It has a resonance for me from a certain time in my life and seemed to sum up my experience. It became one of my favourite songs ever. Cant tell you why. It fills me with joy and a very bright feeling.
I have heard of them, I have had Bittersweet Symphony on my playlists for years. I'm not familar with this one so someone else might need to fill in the meaning. They are often singing about self reflection of life and happiness, and a Lucky Man finds love in himself? idk my 1st crack at it so don't blast me if I'm wrong 😂. Liked the song tho, ❤ and ✌️
Wasn't much of a fan of the Verve. Although they made some really catchy brit-pop songs I just couldn't stand the front mans provocative appearances. Mostly so in their otherwise great "Bittersweat Synphony" Maybe it was the times in Britain bc I felt the same with Oasis. Awesome songs to listen to none the less.
Lucky Man is one of favourite songs of all time. I cry happy tears every time I hear it and this was no exception.
I had alot of fun

Very pleasant, and very The Verve ^^ i like pop-rock a lot, I'm not a huge fan of everything from this band, but that's always well orchestrated
