I think the reason why Hitomi really good at catching and memorising the choreography is due to the fact AKB48 has a lot of songs.. Every time they perform, they have to perform the old and new singles, of course they have to remember everything but that kind of confidence doesn't come without hundreds and thousands of practice. ^^
And she was in cheer dance during school, it might be do to the fact that Hitomi is more into dancing then most girls within the 48 groups because some of the girls in the 48 groups had trouble memorizing dances during this show despite them being able to memorise akb, hkt, nmb, ske etc songs. You are wrong. Hitomi mom is dancer teacher to her. Hitomi learn dancing when she was little. Hitomi learn dancing from her mother. Get your fact straight. Hitomi is intelligent just like Chaeyeon. I can do the same thing just to look the choreography. It depends on the person.
I think it's more because she was a cheerleader when she was younger so she has more of a structured dance background (watching/memorizing routines and synchronizing with teammates) compared to some of the other girls, which helps with her being able to watch something and pick it up quicker. If the reason is that AKB48 has a ton of songs that the girls need to memorize and perform then doesn't that mean most, if not, all the AKB48 girls should be able to pick up and memorize dance quickly?
No one said that hitomi is not a lead dancer maybe they said she's main dancer material in terms of memorizing steps. To those 3 you mentioned they trained year and months that's why they had much power unlike hitomi but hitomi is better.

Because she dance elegancy not hyping unlike the others overdance and underdance. Hitomi knows how to maintain stamina and the others they hyping the song and wants to be great.

Im surprised that they didnt learn the choreography as fast as hitomi, i learned the dance pretty fast (2nd or 3rd seeing it) for very very very because it's simple so im surprised the trained trainees didnt
