If I had been a script writer at this time... well... the fate of Rob would be something not broadcastable anywhere on social media, sufficed to say, I would have bundled Henry off with Kirsty the night Helen stabbed Rob, grabbed my bag, lit the blue touch paper to torch the cottage with Rob still in there, then buggered off to Bangladesh or Basildon with my best friend and both children. Nobody would figure it out.

Agreed, although personally I would have preferred it if he’d face justice but who am I to comment?!!

lBlow that. They waited 7 years for reasons best known to the script writers, but they finally, killed that crocodilc teardropping excuse for a human being off witha brain tumour. I’ve never laughed so much in all the time I’ve been listening to the Archers, which is nearly 30 years, plus all the vintage episodes I collected either, on over 60 cassette tapes or which were released as audio books. It is and always will be, my favourite radio 4 daily fix.
