Hard to believe so few views on this fabulous performance. 7,030 1 month ago when I checked it out April 22. Took place 2/26/23 at the Ryman (of course), maybe it's just because it was just uploaded a month ago. Love this guy and his band!! Wish I could afford to go see him live. But since I can't, thank the Lord for TH-cam!!
You absolutely can. Your stands were a perfect addition to the greatest show I’ve ever experienced live. The thought to the tiniest of details transported me back to a Summer Church Revival before the Sunday Noon pick’n at Bean Blossom ‘73. Hell, I wasn’t even born til ‘80. What a Magical Night. Thanks for adding to the experience.
They are doing the old school setup, with the microphones stands numbered to make it easier for the soundperson to see which fader # to grab when it is solo/level adjusting time... that being said, I find it odd that this is the Ryman and the soundperson is missing quite a few cues to bring up solo's in time. Still...great to see this great band! And the audio is actually pretty good.
A good sound man should not have to continuously mix a good bluegrass band, as long as both parties know what they are doing. A good band should know how to work the mics (i.e. backing up from the mic when not taking a break or doing a fill).
sure, but did you listen and hear what I'm talking about? maybe its the audio person doing the video feed... but there is delay on getting solos up to volume in a few areas...seems unlikely that would be caused by the performer..no?
This is the reason these videos are not supposed to be shared. All the sound you are hearing on this recording is so subpar to what they actually sound like that it causes unfounded comments like yours to be said. Andy is a professional at what he does and for you to make such disparaging remarks about the sound quality of this homemade video is pompous and unfounded . I have alot more to say but I think I got my point across.
ah, another person losing it on the internet.... your comments have now been invalidated lol. Its not unfounded the level shifts... its all there to be heard. Dont share on the internet the clams if you cant handle the comments I would agree!
Wow!! The guys look great in their suits cowboy hats. Cheers for upload!

Could listen to BMFS all day.
I painted these mic stand covers. Would you mind if I used some of your footage in an Instagram reel to show them off? Thanks!

@@HollerLandUSA Dang thank you!!! So honored to have been able to contribute.
Great show
Too bad this isn’t on some sort of media to download. The whole 2sets are blazing hot and pay homage to those that came before.

If you look carefully they're actually plugged in with their pickups. Billy steps on his boost switch before and after his solos.

Come on Nug's
Very good but the camera guy can't tell who is soloing sometimes and is filming wrong person. Not a musician I guess😄
they are not a camerman! just a punter and a phone!
