Do you understand that the “abortion ban” bans the use of D&C’s, which are used to save the lives of women who have miscarriages and other unexpected complications in WANTED pregnancies? You or your daughter can DIE from delayed medical care because doctors are afraid they’ll go to prison if they perform a therapeutic D&C. If you care about the futures of the women and girls you love, vote Democratic. A D&C is the same procedure used in a medical abortion. That’s why it’s banned, even though it’s used for non-abortion medical care too. It’s like how birth control is used to prevent pregnancy, but it’s also used to treat serious medical conditions. Many Republicans would love to ban birth control and they won’t give a flip about the girls and women who need it to treat painful medical conditions.
Whatever opinion you have on vaccines, and I do understand why there are negative opinions on that, two wrongs don't make a right. Writing laws to prevent women having miscarriages from losing their lives would be a simple thing for lawmakers to do. This simple aspect of medical care should be nonpartisan. Even if you oppose abortion, making medically clear what isn't an "abortion" shouldn't be an issue unless you despise women.
