The ending of Midsommar had multiple interpretations and can work in a metaphorical and litteral sense that left me confused at first but made me think and it felt emotional the 2nd viewing . I'm hoping this Beau is Afraid works in similar way. I really trust Ari Aster's writing and directing and Joaquin Phoenix character study is always something I'm down for.
I really enjoyed his other 2 films that were very dark and serious in nature. This one does have the comedy in it that puts me off a bit though but I'll still probably give it a chance.
Most anticipated movie for me this year. I was lucky to see the directors cut of midsommar with Aster in the crowd in NYC. The dude is a crazy genius.
I'm so jealous! That's awesome, friend.

Perfectly said, that Joaquin is a powerful person. I completely agree 👍🏼
Joaquin is going to make grown men cry in this movie 😭.
This movie seems to blend elements of hereditary and midsommar.
This trailer made me feel the way the THX thing used to and that's a big thing
Looks great. can't wait for it.

It will be a dark, disturbing comedy most likely. I'm excited for it.
I don't really understand what's going on in this story but seems like it will have a sad, bittersweet ending.
More Beatles! Check out “Come Together”
Great take!
