That truck will tow & haul mostly anything you want for a very very long time as long as you take care of it , like money in the bank !I’m actually thinking of a F-450 single cab for my next rig possibly or SuperCab like my present 2021 F-350 .
That was all good information...enjoyed going over the road with you and seeing the switch back on your roads...brings back good memories of being in Nova Scotia...16.2 miles per gal isn't horrible...given the climbing up and down the roads you did...Thanks for sharing..
Winter fuel might be a difference from your last experience, I notice a difference with our diesels fuel economy and performance. Also going up the north mountain is way worse in person, the video doesn’t do justice. I go to Harbourville a far bit in the western star. That hairpin is something, most times with no load I’ll spin an inside drive. Keep the videos coming. Always interesting.
I was stuck in my 5 tonne dry van and a guy came by with one of these and pulled me enough I was able to chew out of the ditch with my chains. I was resting on my diff and brake pods, I had roughly 4k lbs in my truck as well.
Hy over there. This is a very cool truck. I am curious about how many horsepowers does it have? And how much Nm of torque? Also, is it suited to mount a snowplow on it? Greetings from Romania!
14,6 per 100 km sounds ok for such a big car and mixed driving. My Land Cruiser (RIP) took almost the same per km. However, big cars are expensive to fill up with gas here in Sweden. Approx 8 USD per gallon (2 USD per liter), but the gas price has gone down from 10 USD per gallon. You really have to plan your driving and destinations with those gas prices.
Hey Tyson just a thought l had ,instead of digging out the tree stumps would it be any easier to use a stump grinder on your skidsteer , would it cut alot of going to the dump trips out and having heaps to cleanup, let me know your thoughts please .
My Ram 3500 SRW Quad cab on 35's, 3.73 gears with a toolbox/slip tank and I sit at 8200 LBS with no fuel in the slip. On the Hwy at 105 kms I can hit 9 liter per 100. Truck is deleted.
@@workplaytv I would have taken that snow that you had instead of the ice. But my ballet dance across the Slumber inn parking lot for sure impressed everyone!
I have a 1997 dodge 3500 club cab. It has a 5.9 engine. I pull a 34ft rv. I get 26 miles a gallon not pulling 24 miles a gallon. I bought it new love it. Every time I pull In to a camp ground somebody wants to buy my truck.
That is one great looking truck
Always liked the Dodge Ram when I visited the states in 99, watching from Scotland

Thanks for the review Tyson. I had two different Cummins, both 5.9L engines. Loved them both. Great workhorse motor.

I’m lucky to see 10 kilometers per liter with my 3,2 diesel Ford Ranger! I’ve tried everything to improve it.

I forgot about the winter fuel difference. Good call.
I just bought 24 reg cab with the aisin and the HO... I hadnt hooked the gooseneck up yet but damn it is a torque monster!
I've got a 2016 ram cummins I find the winter fuel also really sucks up the mileage...summer it gets much better

Nice! Single Cabs rule
So the takeaway from this video is . . .
Dodge is a winner ! 👍
I only buy regular cabs because the b pillar is behind my shoulder instead of in it hahaha

Nothing to complain about... 🙂
But what does it look like when it's doing doughnuts? Ha only kidding.. good video
Absolutely that door is bigger. I didn’t think so until I saw the interior panel. My god it’s quite a bit larger.
i have a 2021 3500 with a dump body,i get around 11 miles to the gallon.

I thought about it but would still need to dig all around them to not dull the blades. I do feel like that is something I may purchase in the future

Are you still brush cutting with the excavator? How is the new holland skidsteer holding up?
You bet! It’s doing great!
That's actually respectable mileage for the type of driving you were doing. I can't remember, is the Ram a 4x4?
Yup
Yeah that hairpin curve has me real nervous for snowy conditions. But the neighbours say it really isn’t so bad with all the salt they spread on it.
Yeah they pound that north mountain with sand
