Spoken in perfect Japanese...very hard to comprehend for new hams, I could not make nothing out of this, or make it work, another 18 minutes wasted of my life; now do not get me wrong; I am not putting down the video or you, it is me the one who can not get it. Oh well, maybe some day if I do not throw the radios against the wall before! lol!!!! I already have buyer remorse with these Kenwood radios I got....trying hard to stay in the hobby but explanation-less videos like this all over the net are taking their toll on my will! for those who already know this hobby and are proficient, understand not everyone can magically get familiar with technical concepts and programming without DETAILED step by step accompanied of explanations of what or why everything is done. That is what is missing from elders who try teaching the ham craft everywhere. Reading books does not makes it any easier...there are zillion of info to get familiar with, I thought I would be better off buying similar radios like the TH-D74 and TM-D712G and after almost 2 weeks I can not get in the air!! yet!!! this is what happened to me 2 years ago when first got the license and tried programming the ID-51A..after few days of pure frustrations just set it aside! now part 2!

Tip: rather than using mouse to click into each field to delete the contents use the following keys: F2 will put the field in edit and select all text, Delete will delete the contents, enter will save the empty data and move to next field. You can position your fingers on these three keys and repeatedly delete record after record very quickly.

At 16:36 I got only two options. Back Lockout. Not OK. I think I am missing some steps not shown in this video. Perhaps they're in another.

I DONN'T SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME PAGES IN MY PROGRAM AS YOU THE BUTTON FOR ADD/ EDITED AND IMPORT REPEATER LIST FROM FILE IS NOT AT THE BOTTOM, LIKE IN YOUR VIDEO. AND I'M NOT ABLE TO EDITED WORLD REGIONS AND ITS NEVER CALLED WORLD RLIGIONS.

Don, I was frustrated with this video. First it took you 5 minutes to get to the HotSpot part. I did not see the need to do all that repeater listing stuff. And for some reason you put the hotspot data in a repeater listing. Why not just add the Hotspot in Regular Memories? No one I know puts them in the Repeater Listing. Can you explain your reason for this? Lastly, you exported the data only to import it again without making any changes to it on your computer. Again, why do all that? Also due to the Title of your video, it should have concentrated on creating just one hotspot. Else things get confusing for new hotspot users like myself. You did not show what goes into the other fields of each row of data. Thanks for the video. but it left me more confused than it helped. In viewing this video I just wanted to know what to put into each row i.e. Freq In and Freq Out, Simplex or FM, Offset, Shift, etc...
