  • Abhinav Khanna, Product Manager for Amazon Managed service for Prometheus discusses the recent launch of a fully managed, agentless scraper, or collector, that automatically discovers and pulls Prometheus-compatible metrics. The collector provides reliable, stable, highly available, automatically scaled collection of metrics for your Amazon EKS cluster. Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus managed collectors work with Amazon EKS clusters, including EC2 and Fargate.

It seems like exposing the pods or config that says where the data is going would be preferred in case we ever need to troubleshoot. If I look at a cluster I'm unfamiliar with how do I know the metrics are going to AWS?
