Come with us as we ride from sunny Southern California on the open road through Zion, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Glen Canyon National Parks, with plenty of other stops like Monument Valley along the way! The weather was great, roads were open, and the views couldn't have been better. All in all, the journey was a little over 1,500 miles. We know you'll enjoy the epic views in this one!

What’s up fellas have you guys ever stoped and checked out that old run down amusement park in Las Vegas in your passing on any of y’all’s trips ? I know Galen is extremely knowledgeable on old school history and I’ve always wanted to know more about that old water park. You all are awesome and love watching you two

Its weird me being from Scotland seeing you guys making your personal choices (or lack of LOL) of protective clothing. If we are not fully booted and suited here in Scotland and Europe anyone would definitely be getting comments. My perspective is its live and let live and make your own choices

More recently, we at least ride in kevlar jackets with spine protection and always full-face helmets. As for boots, usually just ankle high leathers. We've definitely noticed that though. Lost my rear in custer sd in 17 on my road king shoved a rock in it leaving the campground luckily i was able to wedge the rock in harder and ride it to rapid city harley to get it changed.
Glad that worked out. It stinks when you have an issue with your bike. But that’s part of the life we live as riders!

I started looking at the ride videos a wile back and it was looking good and a lot of info on how to do the rides they was doing, Then it turned into a business, getting free stuff pod casts going to look other places
We found a way to support our travels in a positive way where we can still travel the country, put out content weekly, and share as many travels as possible (none of which is cheap) without having to rely on handouts or selling out for something we don't believe in. That's what freedom is all about..

Welcome to the family. We get that question a lot. We like both bike and have owned both. We are partial to the Road Glide as the pocket of air is a bit more comfortable and the dual head lamp at night is much better. With all the miles we put down it’s a Road Glide for us. Thanks for the question.

I love this! I work in West Africa, and live in Pahrump Nv, but was thinking of this route through Zion and Hanksville to Moab next time I’m home. Do you guys make motel reservations ahead of time on these trips, or just wing it hoping there are vacancies? Any information or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for watching James! What seat do you run? For us, we like a seat that's medium cushy, not too soft, not too stiff. More importantly something with some lumbar support so the back doesn't get tired, and it will improve your riding position as well.
We don't run seat covers or any extra padding, but maybe worth a shot if it's bothering you 👍

That's a genuine Harley Tour Pack..
It's the king box and the chopped top, instead of the king top. Harley made a little mistake, but he ended up benefitting from it, being that it's a pretty unique combo.

What windscreen is on that cvo streetglide? Thinking about putting a taller one like that on my 2017 cvo streetglide to help with wind buffering.
Xerox runs two screens. 6.5” Flare most of the time but on longer trips run 8.5” Flare both by Klockwerks and you can see on out site at 2LaneLife.com they both work great!!

Timing on the camera and strobe of the light. They’re solid when on.
this probably a stupid question, but if your in the desert and its supposed to be hot, why the long sleeves?, also, what are the suits I see you wear when your riding thru snowy areas?
Sometimes a long sleeve is in the crass for sun protection. We wear Thrashin and Harley gear for our rain suits! Merry Christmas!

what's you average cruising speed when traveling? Do you bikes make all these long trips without hiccups? How about tires, how many do you go through? Thanks for the answers and enjoy your vids.
80-95, so far we haven’t had any issues (knock on wood) we go through about 3 sets a year.
@@2LaneLife one last, I’ve done stage III, Ported/polished manifold, upgraded heads, 11.1 compression pistons, 5.5 injectors, fulsac headers, tab performance pipes and PV tuner. Do you guys do any engine upgrades are beside new bars abs suspension? I plan on moving to Arizona and visiting all those places in your vid’s man they all look like dream rides to include all the cali canyon rides. Thank again for the vids and response.
@@smarttfirearmsinstruction5924 In the past, we've done some basic motor upgrades like camchest kits, valve springs, push rods, full exhaust, a tune etc..
Josh also had a stage IV build with high flow injectors, cams, ported heads etc on his softail.
Nowadays, since we cover so many miles and tend to replace the bikes every 2 years or so, we keep the drivetrain relatively stock. We definitely enjoy the feel and power of built motors, but haven't done those upgrades on recent bikes.

Not sure what you mean. We do all of our own stuff unless we need a tech for tire change or what have you.

I found your videos and love them except for watching yall be so irresponsible on your bikes. Riding down the street standing on your seats, racing, and doing dumb crap ill never understand. I've ridden all over this country and love watching motorcycle travel videos but the dumb crap some of yall do makes it hard to watch.
