Cool. Been fan of Boris since late 70s. First time I've seen him speak on video about his work. He is a legend!
I've been in a terribly dark place, this past year. Somewhere i have no clue how to get out of... But I needed to see & hear something as passionate as this so much more so than i could ever express in words... on a TH-cam comment, of all places.... But i guess what i'm trying to say is "Thank You" for this. This video. This new record. Reminding me that music is worth living for. That i'm not alone. To always party the hardest i possibly can at all times; Especially when life feels like its all just "too much" to deal with. Thank you for reminding me that not all art is a death sentence. Years of the music industry beating me down had me so fooled & bitter. This is truly what i needed. Pre-Ordering this magic, as soon as i'm not a broke bizich, on Friday :)

Ah yes Boris Vallejo. The man who started it all for me. Boris and Frank Frazetta are 2 icons in my book but I idolized Boris' work.

Been a fan of Boris Vallejo's work since i was little, epsecially the mythological and fantasy artwork. He captures the imagniation like no other and the silhouettes, forms and colors he uses just blows my mind.

I recognized both those names immediately! I used to collect Marvel trading cards as a kid and they did the artwork for many of the sets. They were always some of my favorite cards. The artwork is amazing!

I believe He came here w 80 dollars and washed dishes didn’t speak English and worked his way up and had an earth angel who helped him and gave him a chance. Julie and Boris are more than just painters they are parents to talented kids and are really beautiful souls. Glad I have met them it was like a dream come true to see how humble they are. Boris also plays the violin 🎻

My older brother had a book from Boris Vallejo and I sometimes took it off the shelf when he wasn't home. I adored his works and the detail he put into every work is still amazing. I still can't believe how it's possible to do art the way he does.

I’ve followed Boris for 40 years now……one of - if not my fav fantasy artists alongside the incomparable Frank Frazetta……their artwork has inspired me to this day as have many others,…,but Thankyou for making my imagination and world so bright and visually stimulating to my senses and my soul!……… I am truly forever indebted……True Fantasy Art Masters…..

I love this album cover! I love everything about it! It spoke to me; I think that sound silly and cliche and pretentious, but I really actually mean that this cover spoke to me emotionally.
Love his work. Used to collect the oversized Conan comics which featured the pen works of Ernie Chan and often Boris on the cover... his lighting and interpretation of the human anatomy is timeless...

I am a painting historian and practitioner, i discovered master Vallejo through reading about fantasy art painters, i instantly fell into the magic of Boris Vallejo, i actually couldn't believe those were paintings, i am used to seeing rembrandt, fabritius and Bouguereau (Realistic painters from a hundreds years ago) but Vallejo brought life to the art of painting, his art always seems to move, unlike other hyper-realistic painters from the last 20 years ago. I collected all his paintings and the only way to do it for me physically was through his comic images series.

What an AMAZING video! I lost track of time watching this. So many people assume that "oh, somebody sat down and painted that cover." Hardly! An entire universe of inspiration and meetings of the minds and creativity goes into this and it's so incredibly awesome to hear the story behind it. Long before I ever found this video, I literally spent forever staring at that painting and studying it and picking out every detail ... wow, they even got those reflections right ... that kind of thing. So the goal was achieved, at least with some of us.
You absolutely nailed it. Ever since You're Not Alone came out I have been fascinated by this cover. I am so glad to finally see the story behind it.

Collect science fiction and fantasy art books and no one's empire will be as big as yours. No one's adventures will surpass your own, if you but day dream a bit. If you ever stuck in a lockdown again (more coming I think) curl up with fantasy art books and escape the real world for a bit.

Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell are painter artist and they do fantasy and erotic paintings and they do some marvelous amazing art paintings and they did front covers like the Chevy chase family vacation films front cover art and video game cover art like Golden Axe 2 front cover art for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive and Ecco the Dolphin, Ecco the tides of time, and Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future cover art as well. Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell work together as a team and I'm a Artist as well and I got into art when I was a little boy between the age of 4 or 5 years old.
