I just cant believe they used the old "I'll tell you everything tomorrow" trope....
I know right
Rip Billy. Soon as he walked in and sat with his girlfriend I knew she was gonna be the one to kill him. He should’ve told X everything the moment he went to see him and the kids. He should’ve assumed that she was gonna send someone.
I was yelling at the screen when he told X he'd tell him everything tomorrow. At least he dropped a hint about Sinatra having something to do with the president and having to do bad things
So, Sinatra had •at least• two trained killers who answered to her and she chose them to be part of the community of 25,000.
But, Gabriela told Xavier in the last episode that •she• picked every person who was down there.
So, which is it? Who did the choosing? And, shouldn’t Gabriela know all about Billy and his past already since she should have access to everyone’s file?
This discrepancy is making me doubt Gabriela, now. I’m starting to wonder if she’s really on the side of the angels or not.
This show! This show is making me second-guess and be suspicious of everyone and everything!

99.9% sure Xavier's wife survived. He has some explaining to do when she returns!

Thanks for this! It made me laugh after I was so upset at the end of that episode. Glad I found you guys. I did question Jane but not seriously until the very end did I think it was her. Just as Billy was becoming my favorite character next to Xavier….. they bumped him off- I’m so upset! Also: You made perfect sense and it did cross my mind too that he should have recorded that convo with Sinatra. Demons in this show
It hurt my heart to see Billy on that floor. He was down for X and the kids. They were his only family. Uncle Billy loved that black family. And I was down for it. That damn Jane. We need to learn her back story. Bet she was more vicious than Billy Pace.
The uncle felt the dog did not earn his meal, because he started chasing the buck and that caused Billy to miss the shot.
This was not a normal situation. These were sinister people running their world. Sinatra being the biggest crook of them all.
I came to the comments to see if anyone had picked on a hint dropped by the writers. When they focused on the son singing "Every "Rose" has its thorn" in my head I was like why use that song in this episode? I felt it was a hint somehow. I suspected Jane since last episode. I forgot what she said last episode but it made me look at her differently. Not naive anymore. Anyhow back to the song... by Poison....how Billy die? By poison from his gentle flower ( a rose). Ps I think the number on cigarette is a serial number of a plane. One of the planes that the kids saw hidden away. I figuring President hide something in that plane. He know with Xavier knowledge of planes and flying that it will dawn on him if he finds out there's hidden planes in there.
Yes...Poison...then every rose has it's thorn...meaning Billy's love for Jane, she was the thorn on that rose...man..rip Billy. Sinatra gotta go.
Sigh. Just as I was starting to love Billy Pace, they had to go and do that. So sad.
If the character of Sinatra gets much worse, I’m afraid the estate of Frank Sinatra will sue the show for besmirching the great man’s name.
She is a monster. And, she’s actually the most scary kind of villain because you would never think it of her. On the outside, soccer mom; on the inside, Hitler.
Wanted to hate Billy but this episode made me feel so bad for him. He was going thru it al his life. I hope he is able to leave something behind for Xavier to find
I knew Billy was done for, I didn't think it was the girlfriend for some reason. But there was something in her face after Robinson walked away from her at the carnival.
This episode actually made me like Jane. Because she was coming off as a helpless airhead. Now I see she was purposely doing that. Because neither her nor billy were giving "secret service".
I got this from a comment from the App TVTime from the user Mac raider and blew my mind so thought I would share and see if it blows yours.
I hated that they killed Billy off this episode!
However, after 4 episodes I have a lot of questions. Foremost is, why Dawn was delayed by 2 hours? I’m assuming you all saw the sign?
Here’s my theory.
Have you read the kids book “Chicken Licken”? Think for a second about the ‘murder scene’ for Cal. There was a blood trail leading from the balcony to the body. There was a large, flattened bush beneath the balcony and no murder weapon has been found or even hinted at.
I think that Sinatra’s safe haven - the cave - is starting to decay & collapse and what’s more, they know it. I think a rock from the roof, fell, hit Cal while he stood drinking on the balcony and then landed on the bush. He staggered into the bedroom but of course, died. It wasn’t murder at all. Just a cover up! Sinatra knows this, because Robinson was there, had the rock removed and Dawn was then delayed whilst they investigated and ‘repaired’ the roof. The moral of the story “Chicken Licken” is - don’t believe everything you’re told and i think this applies to ‘Paradise’. Also, Sinatra makes for a good Foxy Loxy, telling her own narrative for her reasons 🤣🤣Kinda makes sense to me. What do you think
I also thought Billy's brains were going to get splattered over Xavier. I thought that Gabriela was going to be one to kill Billy.
This episode was good af ! The series started out a lil slow but now I’m hooked hopefully they kick the action and sci-fi craziness into high gear !!! My only GRIPE is about the WRISTBANDS you would think they would have sum kinda tracker or sum so they could tap into everybody locations but that haven’t been spoke on 🤔🤔🤔

Life is complicated so I'm still team Billy😄. As soon as he told Sinatra to send the biggest mofo, my mind automatically went to 'So who's the smallest mofo?'🤔I thought she was about to send Gabrielle to kill him. I wasn't expecting Ms. Mousy to take him out that fast! If Gabrielle is actually good then I assume that she did not choose Billy or Jane to come down. Anyone else? Also, I'm here for Lamont's prediction of X's wife being a post apocalyptic ice world Harriet Tubman. Give us us free and all that✊🏾.
Just remember Xavier has his pilot license, which means he can fly outta there if he can get those doors open...
perhaps that's the numerical code left by the president on the cigarette... that or it unlocks the president's pad...🤔😳

I just did a rewatch. Sinatra met her husband 22 years ago. So, her daughter could very well be an adult now. Maybe even Jane.

I knew after he talked to Sinatra he was a deadman and as soon as they kept the camera on him in the house i knew the girlfriend was going to kill him.
The biggest shocker of this episode was realizing they kinda ripped off the plot from Fallout and Silo.
so i think the presidents son has something to do with his death ,remember in the episode where they were reviewing the security cams .🤔The son did not show up for show up for dinner the night of his death ,we don’t know if or when he came back since the cams were passed .Also i feel like that’s the reason he is getting close to Presley (collins daughter) i’m still trying to find the rest of my theory

I hope that multiple seasons of this show is planned out and there's a decent landing. I'm hooked, but it reminds me of Lost, Manifest, and so many other shows like it. The first few seasons are amazing, but the plots stops making sense.
I don't think they had a clue about what survived the surface. So they sent the team up. The team told the Paradise leadership that there are survivors. Sinatra or even all of leadership made a decision that survivors cannot know about Paradise therefore they sent Billy up there to kill the team. I am opposed to cold blooded murder but I do understand why they had to die. And at first I thought it was ash but then thought it was snow.
Everybody is missing the transition of Billy being a teenager and the dog had gotten old. Watch the dog limping. Billy transitioned from a kid to a teenager in this scene. That’s why the uncle said kill the dog. Not agreeing with the uncle. js
I really dont want Xavier's wife to be alive and people semi thriving outside. That was almost the same storyline from fallout. So seeing it again would really be disappointing. I dont want them to come out of the bunker too soon, but by next season im sure they will be.
The are under a mountain in Denver, Colorado which would explain the snow.
I was so bored for most of the episode. Thank goodness it picked up at the end. While I'm enjoying the show overall, I kinda wish I had waited to binge it later. And that's just my opinion😁

Gabriela is a spy for Sinatra. She seduced Xavier to get info from him. Plus, so Sinatra is keeping them hostage and lying to him because her son died. I don’t understand why she is mad.

It was too obvious and tv cliché. The minute he said that he'd spill it all the next day, of course he was supposed to die that evening or night. I hope they spin it better and he hid some info somewhere or whatever because this would be too lazy writing.

I feel like the President was communicating with someone outside via the video games. I don’t understand why the security system goes down and allows you to play games. He knew there was life outside the mountain. Plus his tablet was missing of all things. 🤔

I don't think it was nukes because that scientist lecturer seemed to be talking about a natural disaster
@ ah truly, missed that part, respect man. Most likely a meteor then. I could see a massive tidal wave making that damage to the city you see, but not creating a nuclear winter effect after. Definitely looking forward to seeing where it goes either way. They got me hyped when they mentioned the wife possibly been a rebel leader on the outside. Deffo down for that!
