Yes, they have lore: ATEEZ's storyline involves 2 worlds: A and Z. In World A they're a modern take on pirates (treasure-seekers) which is why their debut songs are Pirate King and Treasure. So flags, the parrot in Bouncy, and the pirate ship in Crazy Form are all references back to World A. In World Z, their alter-egos, the Halateez (often portrayed in black clothes and fedoras), live in a dystopian world where they are fighting against their government which has banned all forms of art and anything that invokes emotion (because they know emotionless people are easier to control). The members expose people to music, dance, and anything that could help wake people from their dull existence like chili peppers. Bouncy is from The World EP 2: Outlaw so they're underground. In Crazy Form, they're taunting the law. The members travel between worlds with a special hourglass called the Cromer which you see in Crazy Form's MV outro. Since the members are missing from the scene, it's a hint that the next album will be in World A. World A songs tend to focus on achieving your dreams and can be softer, brighter, or more melodic. World Z songs tend to be about overcoming adversity and trials and are often darker and heavier. Pirate King and Treasure were filmed in on free sets in Morocco. The desert scenes were filmed in the Sahara. Last weekend, ATEEZ performed on Coachella's Sahara stage during prime time. The media enjoyed pointing it out to illustrate how far they've come. I recommend including Intro: Long Journey followed by Pirate King in your next reaction so you have the starting point. You'll probably prefer their B-sides since those lean more toward your preferences.
Thank you for checking them out! This was fun! Yes, they have lore and it's more detailed, deeper, and intertwined with them than you'll find in pretty much any other group. Not only do they give us hints in MVs and during concerts and showcases but they have written text for it inside each of their diary version albums. Someone once compiled all the info they've given us into a powerpoint type format and it was like 200 slides long. 😂 Based off your reaction to the 4 MVs you watched in this video and your request at the end, I'm going to suggest 5 of their MVs that are VERY different from those. A few are still hype but not in the same way and with a different vibe. You'll want to make sure to have subtitles on because the lyrics are so meaningful on some of them. - Wave (the song that got them their first ever music show win) - Inception - Turbulence (all vocal based- there's a PHENOMENAL "It's Live" performance for it too) - The Real - Halazia
Is there lore in Ateez? Well…. Let’s just say that the MCU has nothing on them 😂 Ateez has actually a lot of different styles: the title track tend to be more hype so most people know them for that style. If you want to explore some different sides I can recommend Take me Home, Turbulence, Answer and Inception. The entire discography is amazing that being said, no skip ever for me
Since Take Me Home doesn't have an MV, now seems like a good time to point out KQ hasn't been blocking reactions to re-uploads of concert clips from their concert DVDs. Sanie posted Take Me Home from their Seoul 2022 concert.
OMG YES ok is you like a lil rnb a lil rap a lil soul I recommend nct. I recommend reacting to the Killing voice video nct 127. But I recommend the 7th sense mv, you are my favorite vampire mv, baggy jeans, broken melodies, Ten birthday and perfume mv and kiss performance version. Btw nct is on huge group with diffent units. Nct 127, NCt dream, nct dojaejong, wayv, nct wish ,nct u
I really enjoyed your reaction style! I suggest Utopia, Turbulence, Halazia, and Eternal Sunshine for songs with MVs. Throw in a couple of dance practices or live stages (KQ is pretty reaction friendly for anything off their official channels other than some Japanese tracks that have different copyright rules.
