Hey ☺️ Thank you very much Yes it's a great way of storing away everything and anything isn't it 😬🙃😁 Great I'll hopefully get the fitting vid up next week then . Cheers ryan 👍
Good job guys. Great lesson in how to turn wasted understairs space into usable space. It would be great to see it being fitted. I would be interested to see the transformation.
Great Job guys. This is the first time that I have seen this done with the outer carcase made as a separate unit. Mostly I have seen it done with the outer carcase built into the stairs. This is on my ever increasing job/project list and I may shamedly steal this idea of building it the same way as you did it. Great job!
Ahh cool! Yes steal away! I think it makes fitting and trims easier and gives you a much more solid job/finish 👍 Those runners though were amazing! Can't believe they can take 100kg!
Loved the precision and attention to detail. Top notch. That's very very handy storage space for a house to have. I might have put a third runner towards the top of the back to make it extra super OTT sturdy
Thank you!! It is a very handy space, especially in a smallish st albans house where space is at a premium ☺️ There would be no harm to ad another runner, but these runners are beasts!! In the specs, they take 100kg ! That's me and my son together standing in them 🤣🤣
Ahh thank you very much much for the nice comments ☺️ Yes it's definitely a cool design. The customer came up with this idea so I can't take that credit, other than making it! Definitely send some photos over if you decide to make one yourself 👍👍👍
It’s nice to be in contact again, I’ve been away from woodworking for a while but I’m trying to fit my shed out and I made my first purchase in 2 years through your link and I finally have the parallel guides and got them for £67 🤷♂️ don’t know how!? I watched your video to assemble them, then I’ll use them once my shed is done 👍 thanks mate, you’re a legend !
Hi Ryan, I found this really useful as I am going to ‘try’ and add an under stairs cupboard to our house! Also, is there a chance that you could review how you measured the space and planned the eventual cupboard?
Ahh amazing! Yes sure! Next week is possibly the fitting of this depending on how many people want to see it. So.the video after could be on how u measure the space and design it?
Hi guys, I'm Stewart (new to the channel). I would just like to say that, that was a very nice and tidy little build. So nice that I am going to make the build for under my stairs. Yes I would love to see the installation as well please. Keep up the good work and all the best. Stew.
Hi Stewart! Welcome to the channel and thanks for being a part of it! That's great to hear... It's very likely there will be a installation video as lots of others are interested too 👍 Great that you are also going to make one yourself ☺️ See you next Friday, cheers Ryan 👍
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop glad it made him smile mate, it’s been a rough ending to the season for us but we gotta stick with it tell him his gotta a fellow fan down here in Australia. And to you cheers for all the videos you post mate, great content and you’ve been the inspiration behind me refitting my house during the renovation, so cheers
Hey Ryan, would love to see it being fitted, I’m not going to try and copy the idea for my under stairs honestly 😂. Brilliant idea, hope you’re both well mate 👍
Hello Nick! Haha steal away, it was the customers idea anyway 🤣🤣 But it is a great way of filling that space ☺️ Hooe your well too and it looks like lots of others want the fitting Video too 😁👍 Cheers ryan 👍
Cracking videos with great information… but please could the video editor start to learn about EQ. A high pass filter on the voice audio with a cut around 400hz would improve the videos so much!
Thank you for the great comments I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I edit all the videos as I do everything from start to finish 👍 I will check this out thank you 👍👍👍
@@jochippyy Yes, he should be drilling both, but should also be clearancing the first panel with a larger hole, or using a suitable screw with an unthreaded shank portion. I actually replied to his request for clarification, but I guess I made him look bad and he deleted the comment.
Well done 👍 Love this! Wish I could have something like this 😭
Think we all want to see the fitting! 🤩
Hey ☺️
Thank you very much

Funnily enough, I've been looking for some runners like this for a job I have coming up, thanks for sharing 👍
Ahh great!! There you go, it was fate I put this video up then ☺️😁
Love to see the fitting. I have under-stair area that I'm thinking of filling with pull-out cupboards so it would be helpful for me.
Ahh amazing...
Well I'm sure the fitting Video will be helpful for you ☺️
Cheers ryan ☺️👍

Awesome!!!
I also have a timelapse so I'll add that into the video too 👍👍👍
shouldnt you be clearance drilling the panel you are fixing, instead of just 3mm drilling both?
Hi im not sure I het get your question?
th-cam.com/video/OvLOIxtdRyM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NJ2_bNkezB9r8bxG
If you don't drill through both you risk the mdf splitting
@@jochippyy Yes, he should be drilling both, but should also be clearancing the first panel with a larger hole, or using a suitable screw with an unthreaded shank portion. I actually replied to his request for clarification, but I guess I made him look bad and he deleted the comment.
@geoffy101 no you didn't make him look bad, he is a skilled chippie with a very successful business. I think you are nit picking though
