- Come declutter with me as I work towards making over our master bedroom. I'm starting with my nightstand which I have never decluttered before. I've had this nightstand for over 13 years and to be honest I never utilized this space properly. Since I've decluttered this it has been AMAZING! Do you have a decluttered nightstand?

You should see if your eye doctor takes old frames. Most eye doctors will take old frames and "recycle" them for people who can't afford frames. Great job!

I had glasses shaped like that, I loved them. 😊 I think the decade was either the late 00s or early 10s.
Drawers and high cabinets are land mines or have motion triggers on them, lol. When I get overwhelmed, my first response is Scarlet O’Hara: “I’ll think about that tomorrow!” I feel you, Jia. Great work on finishing the bedside table.

I’m using this as my motivation to finish the last bit of my spring cleaning. I know we’re going into fall, I refuse to start another season with these 4/5 sections still courting my home

You did a great job!! I would like to offer a suggestion that helps me not get so overwhelmed when decluttering. I'm also a working mom of two so I know the struggle. Maybe next time you can do one drawer at at time instead of the whole night stand. This way you don't have so many items to go through at one time. Just a suggestion 🥰

That was my guess! Because I had almost those same frames and pics of me with them when my son was born in 2011! I donated my old frames to the eye doctor as well.

I get caught in looking at old things and then I get tired but can't quit because I've already pulled everything out. Lol it's a cycle. I'm going to say those glasses are from 2015

Congratulations girl! Baby steps, & bit by bit it’ll get done. I love your nightstand it looks very substantial deep drawers, real wood, or great quality. Hard to find w/o spending $$. I could see that redone with new hardware or glass knobs. If not in bedroom, your office maybe? Keep up the good work, know that you’re not alone 🥰
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉. I'm proud of you too. I was a sentimental paper collector also. Last year I started to scan my favorite documents and put them on flash drives. I went from a 4-drawer file cabinet to a small album with 10 drives. It was so freeing 😊😊😊.

I just happened to come across your videos and I am totally with you in the struggle to declutter. So I'm watching your video series and you mentioned that you want to put your dresser in your closet. I guess since you have a beautiful and organized closet why would you want to move your dresser in there because it seems like you have a spot for it in your bedroom that would still allow you space to create your sitting area that you want. no judgment just curious about the thought process.
I just prefer tohave built-in's in my closet and enough storage to house all of my folded clothes.

Jia, you are so inspiring. I'm about to go through vein surgery from complications from COVID from 3 1/2 years ago, and it has made it difficult to finish cleaning my home like I use too. I thank God for my husband's help, but it bothers me because I can't finish much sooner than I desire. Your videos help me focus when I try to clean up my home. It's like talking to a friend, and all I do is listen. Lol! Know that you are appreciated by your viewers/followers, and until later, I'll keep watching.👍🏾

We also have a light colored fabric upholstered headboard, which we heavily Scotch guarded and it still looks great after 11 years.
I remember the joy i felt when I made my last college loan payment. My husband also remembers my celebration 🎉

This is awesome, and I'm so proud of you Jia! This video made me go look at my nightstands and think about an upgrade as well! Your nightstands look very sturdy, and solid. Now I'm about to go on Wayfair and see what I can find for a good price!😂 My husband and I got a new bed a few years ago(2019) and we love it. I love that headboard and can't wait to see your oasis when it's finished! ❤❤❤❤
