V 1992 byl v Mig-29 Přerově na leteckém dnu. Ukázka byla dost "vlažná", prakticky nezapnul přídavné spalovaní. Na Václava Vaška to nevypadalo.
Václav Vašek vše popisuje ve své knize Etudý vonící luftem,mašiny byli dost nespolehlivé jednou odešel motor během vystoupení lítal na jednu forsáž podruhé po startu podelné řízení a sám to popisuje jak horko těžko dostal letadlo zpátky na zem aniž by došlo ke katastrofě.Sám tvrdí,že by nikdy nešel před diváky se stoprocentně připravenou mašinou,ale přeci jenom display pilot, který má certifikaci na letecké dny a letadlo upravené na vystoupení je o něčem jiném.
@hussar2343 It is history. Now a have Czech Republic SAAB JAS-39 Gripen. The Czech Air Force weapons were removed 1998th It's a paradox, but the older MiG-21 served until 2005. MiG-23 had a shorter life, probably due to the variable geometry wings.
It can,sure. Though this is an ML,they are probably referring to the MF,not so agile.Also the Israelis found out that,aeronautically speaking,it is as dangerous as an early F16 it accelerates better and is faster.
@@francescodimarzio9139 Not even MF, MS is what they were refering to, which was built on the 23U trainer, with centre of gravity so far up its ass that you just cannot afford to turn without risking flipping the aircraft around... We lost a few UB's this way. MF was a lot better in this regard, but still heavy. ML was a lot lighter, with better engine. Real beast.
@@francescodimarzio9139 oh, it's not an issue for a trainer, as long as you fly according to the book; it was however used (by serving officers) for manoeuver combat training and evaluation, you'd have an officer in front, and an observer in the back (evaluating the fight). Pilots used to the MF and ML would just pull too hard, send the UB spinning - if you don't punch out, you die. Some were foolishly trying to save the aircraft, paid with their life.
@@19Koty96 As far as I knew every regiment had 1 or 2 UB as hacks or for weather flights prior to every 'flight day'. The Israelis were impressed by their captured/bribed ML (no chaff dispensers,less weight and different CG). I think members of the ML family cannot be compared to the previous ones,the Americans were impressed too and they had just MS and BN. Ciao,Francesco.
