If anyone wondering, Mobik is a Russian-speaking player which his nickname implied from the very start. Mobik is a diminutive from "mob" in Russian language, generally referring to a creep in MOBA game or non-special, non-critter creature in MMO. "что?" means "what?". That's the whole story.
"There are no winners today"... In my mind, nobody ever wins in a bronze league heroes game. There is no such thing as winning. Just degrees of defeat.
I can surely bet they play like this almost every game. Like, you won't count on such garbage in diamond if you can play a normal macro game, even though PvP is mostly about heads or tails.
I don't like going straight offensive on people, but those are garbage player types I see almost every PvP (every PvP besides 4 gate actually) which have "below gravestone" understanding of the game and thus fail miserably if you repel their cheese.
Mobik could definitelly win this. The two cannons were an easy match for the zealots as your shields can restore and you could take cannons one at a time. The three cannons could also be destroyed as he had like 15 probes at the base, mixed with the zealots they were more than enough. On the other hand a zealot from butterfly would have made the difference. Also, just saving money for a nexus would have been a much better idea.
i mean... you can see the enemy buildings... so he could of easily gotten A lot of his probes out from his dead main... then go tank some shots for zealots to take out the cannons at enemy main.... and then possibly take out the last cannon and one pylon to de-power the 2 cannons... and win game?
I think mobik could've won this by microing the zealots against that first cannon, then running by the second one to his base and then attacking those three cannons with the zealots and the probes at once.
Nah, he could have just go for a normal nexus first, then get robo and kill all cannons with an immortal (afaik 5-6 cannons should be shooting at once to kill an immortal before it kills them). Also having a probe on patrol on the beginning helps much if you have an eye on minimap which allows you to catch the probes before any pylons are finished. Ez pz if you pay attention on your base and minimap at all, which should be basic thing in diamond.

How is it possible for Protoss to even beat Terran? Protoss gateway units are so weak that a cheaper army of MMM can wipe out any protoss army and it has 100x better mobility. 2/2 stalkers and zealots get evaporated by 0/0 marines and marauders. Also Terran in instantly replace their army while Protoss takes millions of years to produce an army. And Terran is getting tons of buffs while protoss is getting multiple nerfs per patch. in Diamond league
Chargelots w/ archons counter marines and marauders. Storm counters marines. Feedback counters medivacs. Stalkers /w blink counter medivacs and liberators. Colossi counter marines. Immortals counter tanks and marauders. Adepts counter marines and tanks. GUARDIAN SHIELD COUNTERS MARINES AF! Long story short: PvT and PvZ are unwinnable without AoE as you always have lesser numbers. And for replenish: 10 gates can replenish 20 supply-ish at a time while 10 reactor barracks do the same thing. Technically if you chrono gates you can replenish 40 supply faster than Terran does (given that they usually don't keep the stable production rate for such amount of time). I still wonder how did you get to diamond without acknowledging basics of CQC^W PvT, but that's none of my concern tbh. Hope this helps.
You have to consider the cost and difficulty to acquire those units. For example marines require 1 supply, zero tech, and no gas. They should not at all be killing late game, high supply, high gas units. The marine is inarguably the MOST cost effective unit in game. not to mention they are the only unit that is ranged and that requires no tech so they can easily wipe the floor with their other races equivalents (Zealots, Zerglings) This forces other races to spend over 100 minerals and X gas to kill off a 50 mineral unit that can be easily produced 15 at a time.
You don't build just gateway units is the summary. And technically, if you use blink micro and have charge on your zealots you could easily probably stomp a equal cost terran army with just stalkers and zealots.

Well if you repel a cheese you usually set them behind so its your fail if you dont take advantage of that.
I'm more disappointed with Butterfly. All he had to do was build more cannons at home or hardwall with gates and have cannons behind them.
