McConaughey is just an Austin-variety weirdo with funding. He's the kind of guy who starts talking to you outside of a Circle K here at 1am as though it was a continuation of a previous conversation, or that strikes up a conversation with you about weird dog breeds without preamble at a coffee shop. Invariably, psychedelics come up. He's not homeless, but he takes naps in bookstores. This one's just also an actor. He's alright. Sometimes those guys know oddly useful things. Yea for a celebrity of that level i think ole matt might be alright. If you could strip away all the fame and bs he might be a pretty normal and cool guy
I agree. It came off a little cringe, but wasn't that bad. He said he was a little nervous about it, then came off a little awkward... y'know, like he was nervous... They gave him shit for saying he was nervous, like a veteran actor nervous in front of a camera, yeah right. He must be acting nervous. The problem is big celebs have teams creating their image. These people, as we know them are usually creations of a machine. When they do things like social media, especially if its their personal accounts, they show themselves and come off different than we are used to seeing. Even worse, they may try to present themselves like the image the machine created, without the machine, and it becomes what you see in this video with Garth Brooks and Matt McConaughey. Honestly if they are doing social media because they want to, then who gives a shit let them be. If they are doing it to build a following, as a source of money or fame, then they really need to just let their PR teams handle it, because its still building off their established image. In McConaugheys case, his built image was a laid back, cool guy. If he wants to keep that image, he apparently cant be himself lmao, because apparently he is the awkward guy at heart.
Bit of both, he's not as crazy as Travolta, but there's something underlying that you can tell he's been warped a bit. The laugh is a pretty good example. He laughs when he wants to, not when something is funny. And it's not in equal parts to how funny the joke is. That's what happens when you get no real feedback over a long enough period of time. Your connection to reality is all out of whack. It's like when you go deaf, and you lose the ability to speak because you have no consistent feedback on how you sound. Famous people are kinda just deaf people.
McConaughey honestly not that bad, as if you didn't like him in Wolf of Wall Street. Hes obviously at least fairly self aware about how narcissistic the industry and people in general can be.

McConaughey was hesitant about dipping a toe into social media and in doing so creating conversation and opening up. He mentions focusing on becoming more enlightened rather then chasing tail. The very first video he puts out he’s called crazy, insane, psycho....and this is from you guys? Come on man, give the man a break. Something tells me no matter what he said he would be put under the microscope simply because he is who he is but why did it have to be you guys? He would have made a great guest. P.S. What’s scary about HIV (like I need to explain that) is the length of the period of time a person can have it and not know. Essentially, if a person is otherwise healthy and doesn’t have any issues with their immune system, and also if they haven’t specifically gotten an HIV test, they can live their whole life with the virus and never be aware of it until suddenly they get sick with pneumonia and die. That’s why it’s so important to get tested regularly. Especially so if you regularly have lots of unprotected sex with lots of partners.

That life sounds straight out of Batman from the Joker.
Tom's impression of a cracked out Charlie Sean after 8:00 minutes has me dead on the floor
All this is why Keanu Reeves is a rarity...helps to not lose grip on reality
He took the red pill 😂
Dude keanu is out of touch like the rest of them what cause he took a subway once hes a regular guy ? Or he dates an old lady he knows what the reactions are when doing those things
be hiphop lmaoo
mmmmm i mean have you seen the cyberpunk press conference hahahaha
When the high eye goes low I go high. I felt like sharing that y’all.
What about Jim Carrey ? I think he's at that level of famous crazy
Jim's just way into psychedelics
Jim is realy weird in that Andy kofmen movie documentary on Netflix.
The pictures with Travolta, looks like he has been photoshopped in them. Fucking hilarious 😂🤣🤣😁
P.S. HIV is no longer the worst thing you can get. It’s treatable now. So much so that in the wonderful state you live in, it’s no longer a felony if you don’t tell a sexual partner you have it. IMO that’s really messed up but it shows how treatable it is. It isn’t a death sentence anymore.
Magical Johnson made me bust hahaha
Is John Travolta trying to look like Joe Rogan?
They break it down so perfectly.
They should have included a clip of Tom laughing at a man breaking his legs in a parachuting accident.
In that second Travolta clip he reminded me of Bryan Callen 😂 especially when he goes on listing his dates
I’m here 4yrs later. You’re awesome Tom, but you got weird…..
Keep keepin' the high eye and keep on featherin' it.
The "tom makes a point them Christina repeats it, burps into the mic, Tom looks disgusted, but Christiana said something and laughs at herself" funny show
You gotta edit it again man, you put "them" instead of "then"...
Yeah Christinas getting pretty annoying and I dont really care about burping or find it gross even but when Christina burps into the mic when Tom is in the middle of saying something it fucking irks me
Nick Sanchez .....is that your sentence?
Anytime I ever need to laugh and feel better, this clip of you guys does it. The stars creep me out so badly that I immediately feel better. This stuff is priceless.
McConaughey seemed eccentric but just watching these 2 tear everyone down without stepping outside themselves enough to realise they're displaying their own toxic traits in front of a smaller audience on a smaller scale.
Johnny Finnigan but they’re not that weird are they? that’s the whole show, these celebs are so unaware of themselves
@@Th3oSK of course untethered narcissism to the whole lot. Just calling out the fish that pick at the meat between the teeth and claim their own brand of sanity.
I was JUST thinking that. I never seen this show & holy shit all the hating.
@@Th3oSK All their inside jokes/lingo make them sound pretty weird to people who arent die-hard followers of the show.
Also Tom is a morbid, functioning sociopath.
@@kickash45 it’s about being aware of yourself and grounded to reality. Tim and Christina aren’t hating they’re just goofing on celebrities that are not self aware. It’s funny and the audience agrees. They’re not being “mean” for no reason. They’re just joking about people
Holy shit this is them now😂
Dubai have won every falcon World Cup since 1992
Mongolia just cannot get their trophy back
My new favorite podcast.
Mathew McConaughey is just trapped as moondog now
Just found you two recently. You've both really helped me get in touch with the M & the E. I had to take a walk after the Soo Yoo girl, think on that shit.
That's funny you bring this up, me and my wife were just talking yesterday about how YOU are getting too famous and aren't as funny as you used to be. Lol imagine that
Low and extremely loose.
Sadly here we are seven months after this video was made realizing that he was probably making extra money to pay for cancer treatment for his wife Kelly😔
I think John Travolta the man should not be made fun of ( his characters YES, but not him). He's lost a son with special needs and two ladies he was in love with, and he lost a good friend ( Olivia Newton John).
I saw Matthew on hot wings before this and that’s when I knew he had a profound ego. This just confirmed it
That Charlie impersonation was the best😭
McConaughey's Instagram description says, "Husband. Father. Actor. Minister of Culture. Professor. Creative Director. AustinFC. JKLivin. Pickle Expert."
Jon Pickle expert should be on Travolta’s bio
'na fuk it, I'll do the meet n greet' 🤣🤣🤣
Tom Hanks is more famous than John Travolta....and he’s not weird
He probably is but is good at keeping to himself
His son took all the weirdness and I’m not talking about the actor son im talking about the rapping mob boss lmao
There’s exceptions but the majority are weird.
Tom Hanks was a comedian. That's how he started. Matt and John were pretty faces. They were fawned over their whole life.
Travolta needs the money to pay Scientology 😂
You guys are funny as hell! #MagicalJohnson
Also, Christina join my cult and marry me.
11:03 I think the man is just drunk LMFAO
